Abstract

Claims (43)
- 融合タンパク質と、薬学的に許容可能な担体と、を含む、治療用組成物であって、
前記融合タンパク質は、VIPと、少なくとも1つのエラスチン様ペプチド(ELP)成分と、を含み、前記VIPは、半減期の延長を呈し、1日1回以下の投薬頻度を支援する、治療用組成物。 - 前記ELP成分は、配列番号:1−12によって定義される、1個以上のアミノ酸の反復単位から構成される、請求項1に記載の治療用組成物。
- 前記ELP成分は、VPGXG(配列番号:3)、IPGXG(配列番号:5)、および/またはLPGXG(配列番号:7)の反復を含み、Xは、遺伝的にコードされたアミノ酸である、請求項2に記載の治療用組成物。
- 前記ELP成分は、VPGXG(配列番号:3)反復を含み、Xは、は、V、A、およびGから独立して選択される、または、K、V、およびFから独立して選択される、請求項3に記載の治療用組成物。
- Xは、約V5、A2、およびG3の比率における、V、A、およびGである、請求項4に記載の治療用組成物。
- 前記ELP成分は、VPGXG(配列番号:3)の60個の反復単位を含む、請求項5に記載の治療用組成物。
- 前記ELP成分は、VPGXG(配列番号:3)の120個の反復単位を含む、請求項6に記載の治療用組成物。

- VIPと前記ELP成分との間にスペーサ配列をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の治療用組成物。
- 前記スペーサペプチドは、プロテアーゼ耐性またはプロテアーゼ切断可能である、請求項20に記載の治療用組成物。
- 前記スペーサペプチドは、プロテアーゼ切断可能であって、トロンビン切断部位、Xa因子切断部位、金属プロテアーゼ切断部位、エンテロキナーゼ切断部位、Tev切断部位、またはカテプシン切断部位を含む、請求項21に記載の治療用組成物。
- 前記組成物は、非経口的投与のために調合される、請求項1に記載の治療用組成物。
- 前記組成物は、皮下、筋肉内、または静脈内投与のために調合される、請求項23に記載の治療用組成物。
- 非修飾VIPと比較して、VPAC2対VPAC1に対する、前記VIPの選好性を修飾するように、VIPまたはその機能的類似体と、N−末端部分と、を含む、治療剤。
- 前記VIPは、配列番号:13のアミノ酸配列を有する、請求項25に記載の治療剤。
- 前記VIPは、配列番号:21−27のうちのいずれか1つのアミノ酸配列を有する、請求項25に記載の治療剤。

- VIPを必要とする対象を治療する方法であって、前記対象に、請求項1−31に記載の治療上有効量の組成物を投与することを含む、方法。

- 対象における心臓病を治療または防止する方法であって、前記対象に、請求項1−38のいずれかに記載の治療上有効量の組成物を投与することを含む、方法。
