本発明に係る有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子用材料を用いた有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子について説明する。図1は、本発明の一実施形態に係る有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子100を示す概略図である。有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子100は、例えば、基板102、陽極104、正孔注入層106、正孔輸送層108、発光層110、電子輸送層112、電子注入層114及び陰極116を備える。一実施形態において、本発明に係る有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子用材料は、発光層と陽極との間に配置された積層膜のうちの少なくとも一層に用いることができる。

N−2−ナフチルフェニルアミノ)トリフェニルアミン(2-TNATA)、ポリアニリン/ドデシルベンゼンスルホン酸(PANI/DBSA)、ポリ(3,4−エチレンジオキシチオフェン)/ポリ(4−スチレンスルホネート)(PEDOT/PSS)、ポリアニリン/カンファースルホン酸(PANI/CSA)、又は、ポリアニリン/ポリ(4−スチレンスルホネート)(PANI/PSS)等を含んでもよい。
本発明に係る有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子用材料は、例えば、以下のように合成することができる。
Ar雰囲気下、500mLの三つ口フラスコに、1-(4'-chloro-[1,1'-biphenyl]-3-yl)naphthaleneを10.05g(31.92mmol)と4-(naphthalen-1-yl)anilineを7.0g(31.92mmol)、Pd2(dba)3・CHCl3を2.313g(2.235mmol)、(tBu)3P (1.50M) を3.352ml(6.704mmol)、NaOtBuを9.203g(95.768mmol)加えて、200ml Toluene の混合溶媒中で4時間加熱還流攪拌した。空冷後、水を加えて有機層を分取し溶媒留去した。得られた粗生成物をシリカゲルカラムクロマトグラフィー(CH2Cl2とHexaneの混合溶媒を使用)で精製後、Toluene/Hexane混合溶媒で再結晶を行い、白色固体の化合物Aを12.4g(収率78%)得た。FAB−MS測定により測定された化合物Aの分子量は、497であった。
Ar雰囲気下、200mLの三つ口フラスコに、化合物Aを3.00g(6.03mmol)と3-bromodibenzo[b,d]furanを1.788g(7.23mmol)、Pd2(dba)3を0.243g(0.422mmol)、(tBu)3P (1.50M) を0.633ml(1.266mmol)、NaOtBuを1.738g(18.086mmol)を加えて、70mL Tolueneの混合溶媒中で3時間加熱還流攪拌した。空冷後、水を加えて有機層を分取し溶媒留去した。得られた粗生成物をシリカゲルカラムクロマトグラフィー(CH2Cl2とHexaneの混合溶媒を使用)で精製後、Toluene/Ethanol混合溶媒で再結晶を行い、白色固体の化合物21を3.68g(収率92%)得た。
Ar雰囲気下、300mLの三つ口フラスコに、9-phenyl-9H-carbazol-4-amineを1.37g(5.30mmol)と1-(4-bromophenyl)naphthaleneを3.00g(10.59mmol)、Pd2(dba)3を0.30g(2.12mmol)、(tBu)3P (1.50M) を1.41ml(2.12mmol)、NaOtBuを8.89g(6.03mmol)を加えて、106ml Tolueneの混合溶媒中で1.5時間加熱還流攪拌した。空冷後、水を加えて有機層を分取し溶媒留去した。得られた粗生成物をシリカゲルカラムクロマトグラフィー(CH2Cl2とHexaneの混合溶媒を使用)で精製後、Toluene/Ethanol混合溶媒で再結晶を行い、化合物37を3.34g(収率95%)得た。
以上に述べた化合物37の合成方法における、9-phenyl-9H-carbazol-4-amineの代わりに9-phenyl-9H-carbazol-3-amineを用い、同様に化合物41を合成した。
88(m,2H)、7.84(d,2H,J=7.80Hz)、7.63−7.59(m,4H)、7.55−7.40(m,17H)、7.34−7.29(m,5H)であった。
化合物52の合成方法
以上に述べた化合物37の合成方法における、9-phenyl-9H-carbazol-4-amineの代わりにdibenzo[b,d]furan-3-amineを用い,(4-bromophenyl)naphthalene の代わりに1-(4'-chloro-[1,1'-biphenyl]-3-yl)naphthaleneを用い、同様に化合物52を合成した。
以上に述べた化合物37の合成方法における、9-phenyl-9H-carbazol-4-amineの代わりにdibenzo[b,d]furan-3-amineを用い、同様に化合物57を合成した。
以上に述べた化合物37の合成方法における、9-phenyl-9H-carbazol-4-amineの代わりに9-phenyl-9H-carbazol-3-amineを用い、1-(4-bromophenyl)naphthalene の代わりに2-(4-bromophenyl)naphthaleneを用い、同様に化合物59を合成した。
Claims (6)
- 以下の一般式(1)で表される有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子用材料。
- 前記HArが以下の一般式(2)で表される請求項1に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子用材料。
- 前記Ar1及びAr2が、水素原子であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子材料。
- 前記Ar3及びAr4が水素原子であり、Ar5がフェニル基またはナフチル基であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子材料。
- 請求項1乃至4の何れか一項に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子用材料を少なくとも一層に含む有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。
- 請求項1乃至4の何れか一項に記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子用材料を発光層と陽極との間に配置された積層膜のうちの少なくも一層に含む有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。
