Claims (10)
- 2つ以上の電池セル又は電池モジュールが電気的に連結されている電源供給部と、
前記電池セル又は電池モジュールの直列連結部位のうち、少なくとも一つの直列連結部位に位置し、下記の圧力作動スイッチにより誘導される電池セル又は電池モジュールの短絡により電池パック内の電気的連結を遮断する断電(cut−off)部と、
前記断電部の位置する電池セル又は電池モジュールに並列に連結されており、電源供給部の異常発生時に、電池セル又は電池モジュールの体積膨脹を感知し、電池セル又は電池モジュールに短絡(short−circuit)を誘導する圧力作動スイッチと、
前記電源供給部の最外側に位置している電極端子に連結され、外部デバイスに電源を供給する外部入出力用端子と、
を備えることを特徴とする、電池パック。 - 前記断電部の作動のための短絡電流は、500A乃至3000Aの範囲であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記断電部は、ヒューズからなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記圧力作動スイッチは、電池セル又は電池モジュールの体積膨脹が設定値以上に増加する時に作動するように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記圧力作動スイッチは、電池セル又は電池モジュールの正常作動条件下で断電状態(OFF)に設定されており、電池セル又は電池モジュールの体積が膨脹する時に通電状態(ON)に切り替わることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池セル又は電池モジュールの体積膨脹は、電源供給部の過充電又は過電流時に発生することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池セル又は電池モジュールの電極端子は、バスバーにより電気的連結されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池セルは、樹脂層及び金属層を含むラミネートシートのケースに電極組立体が内蔵されているパウチ形電池セルであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 請求項1に記載の電池パックを電源として含むことを特徴とする、デバイス。
- 前記デバイスは、電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車、プラグ−インハイブリッド電気自動車又は電力貯蔵装置であることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載のデバイス。
