- 前記バネ先端は、軸方向に圧縮された際に円筒形状をとる、請求項5に記載の医療装置。
- 前記バネ先端は、軸方向に圧縮された際に増加しない径を有する、請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記バネ先端および前記カテーテルを通って伸びるルーメンをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の医療装置。

前記標的組織を前記バネ先端と接触させることと、

を含む、標的組織をカテーテルと係合させる方法。 - 遠位バネ先端を有するカテーテルを標的組織へナビゲートすることは、メッシュバネ先端を有するカテーテルをナビゲートすることを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 遠位バネ先端を有するカテーテルを標的組織へナビゲートすることは、発泡体バネ先端を有するカテーテルをナビゲートすることを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記標的組織に対して前記バネ先端を軸方向に圧縮することは、前記カテーテルを前記標的組織へと前進させることを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記標的組織を前記バネ先端と接触させることは、前記バネ先端を前記標的組織へと磁気的に引き寄せることを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記標的組織に手術を行うことは、前記バネ先端を電極として用いて電気を前記組織を通じて送ることを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記組織と前記バネ先端との間の接触を維持することは、前記カテーテルの位置に影響を与えること無く前記標的組織の生物学的な動きが前記バネ先端によって吸収されるように、前記バネ先端を配置することを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記標的組織に処置を行うことは、前記カテーテル内のルーメンを通じて、および前記バネ先端を通じて器具を前進させて、前記標的組織と係合させることを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 標的組織へのアクセスのために用いることが可能な医療装置であって、
ルーメンを有する第1のカテーテルと、
前記カテーテルの遠位端に取り付けられ、第1の構成、第2の構成および第3の構成を有し、
前記第1の構成は、径方向に圧縮された構成であり、
前記第2の構成は、径方向に膨張した構成であり、
前記第3の構成は、軸方向に圧縮された構成である、
変形可能なバネ先端と
を含む、医療装置。 - 第2のカテーテルをさらに含み、前記第2のカテーテルを通じて前記カテーテルおよびバネ先端が展開され、前記バネ先端は、前記第2のカテーテルを出ると、前記径方向に圧縮された構成から前記径方向に膨張した構成をとる、請求項17に記載の医療装置。
- 前記バネ装置に取り付けられた機構をさらに含み、前記機構は、前記第1の構成と前記第2の構成との間で前記バネ先端を変形させるために使用することが可能である、請求項17に記載の医療装置。
- 前記バネ先端は、前記バネ先端が前記第2の構成から前記第3の構成をとった際に増加する径を有する、請求項17に記載の医療装置。
