Abstract
Description
本発明を実施例によって解説する。
250gのヒドロキシエチルセルロース(増粘剤:ヘラキュールズ社によって「ナトロソール」(商標)として販売されている)及び0.3gのエトキシ化オクタデシルアミン/オクタデシルグアニジン複合体(表面処理剤:サイテック社により「アクロゾールC−61」として販売されている;固体含有量:70%)を含む水溶液(2L)を調製した。
実施例2及び比較例3〜6は、両面上に埋め込まれたガラス繊維マットを有する石膏ボードに関する。ガラス繊維マットの特徴を表1に要約する。
実施例2及び比較例3〜6による石膏ボードについて、BS:EN 1364 1:1999に従った耐火試験を実施した。簡潔に述べると、フレームがそれぞれの面上で12.5mm厚のボードの単層で被覆された仕切りを構築した。仕切りの一面を炉の炎に曝露した。
実施例2及び比較例3〜6による追加の耐火試験を、BS EN 1363−1:1999の手法を用いて実施した。簡潔に述べると、鋼鉄の梁を20mm厚のボードの単層で被覆し、炉の炎に曝露した。
実施例2及び比較例3〜6の石膏ボードについて、BS:EN 520で解説されている方法に従って曲げ強度試験を実施した。ボードの性能は、曲げ強度が予め設定されたレベルを超えたなら良好であると特徴付けられた。結果を表1に示す。
繊維マットを通したスラリー浸透の程度を視覚による検査によって特徴付け、浸透が完全で且つ結果的にボードの表面が平坦である場合には「良好」と分類した。結果を表1に示す。
Claims (15)
- 2つの対抗する面を有する石膏ボードであって、該ボードの面の一方には繊維マットが埋め込まれており、該繊維マットは、高分子バインダーによって結合された繊維を含み、前記高分子バインダーは実質的にホルムアルデヒドを含まず、前記繊維の長さは20mmより長く、前記繊維の径は14ミクロンより大きい、石膏ボード。
- 前記高分子バインダーは親水性である、請求項1記載の石膏ボード。
- 前記繊維マットは前記ボードの前記面内に全体的に埋め込まれている、請求項1又は2記載の石膏ボード。
- 前記繊維マットは部分的に前記ボードの前記面に埋め込まれている、請求項1又は2記載の石膏ボード。
- 高分子バインダーによって結合された繊維を含み、前記高分子バインダーは実質的にホルムアルデヒドを含まず、前記繊維の長さは20mmより長く、前記繊維の径は14ミクロンより大きい、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の石膏ボードを得るために石膏内に埋め込まれる繊維マット。
- 前記高分子バインダーは親水性である、請求項5記載の繊維マット。
- 前記高分子バインダーは、アクリレート重合体、メタクリレート重合体、アクリレート−メタクリレート共重合体、スチレンアクリル酸共重合体、スチレンメタクリル酸共重合体及びスチレンブタジエン共重合体並びにこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項5又は6記載の繊維マット。
- 前記高分子バインダーは親水性添加物を更に含む、請求項7記載の繊維マット。
- 前記親水性添加物は、ポリソルベート系界面活性剤(ポリオキシエチレンソルビタンモノラウレートなど)及びポリオキシエチレンとポリオキシプロピレンとの共重合体非イオン系界面活性剤からなる群から選択される、請求項8記載の繊維マット。
- 前記アクリレート重合体は、「アクロデュールDS3530」(BASF社)、「アクアセットTF150」(Dow社)、及び「HF05」(Dow社)からなる群から選択される、請求項8又は9記載の繊維マット。
- 前記アクリレート重合体が「アクロナルDS2416」(BASF社)である、請求項7記載の繊維マット。
- ガラス繊維を含む、請求項5〜11のいずれか1項に記載の繊維マット。
- 前記繊維の径は15ミクロンよりも大きく、好適には16ミクロンより大きい、請求項5〜12のいずれか1項に記載の繊維マット。
- 前記繊維の長さは22mmよりも長く、好適には23mmよりも長い、請求項5〜13のいずれか1項に記載の繊維マット。
- 不織マットである、請求項5〜14のいずれか1項に記載の繊維マット。
