Abstract
Description
仕上げ用石膏板の種々のレベルは、石膏協会(Gypsum Associates、ワシントンDCに所在)により入手可能な刊行物GA−214−96「石膏板仕上げの推奨されるべきレベル」に記載されており、当該刊行物は本明細書において全体が援用される。レベル4仕上げは一般的には、平坦なペイント、軽いテクスチャ又は壁部の被覆が板の表面に適用されるべき場合に、特定される。従って、そのような表面は、壁部の仕上げが最小の調製物を用いて塗布されるとともに美的に受け入れられるものであるように適度に滑らかでなければならない。
ポリマー結合剤の例は、スチレン−ブタジエン−ゴム(SBR)、スチレン−ブタジエン−スチレン(SBS)、エチレン−塩化ビニル(EVCl)、ポリ−ビニリデン−塩化物(PVdCl)及びポリ(ビニリデン)コポリマー、改質ポリ塩化ビニル(PVC)、ポリ−ビニル−アルコール(PVOH)、エチレン−酢酸ビニル(EVA)、ポリ−酢酸ビニル(PVA)、並びにスチレン−アクリレートコポリマーのようなアクリル酸、メタクリル酸、それらのエステル及びそれらの誘導体(アクリル酸タイプのポリマー)単位を含むポリマー及びコポリマーを含むがそれらに限定されるものではない。これらの材料の全てではないが大部分は、ラテックス処方物として入手可能である。アクリル酸タイプのラテックスポリマーが一般的には好ましい。

前記不織ガラス繊維マット化粧張り用材料は、約8乃至約11ミクロンの繊維径を有するとともに0.64cm乃至1.90cmの繊維長さを有する多くのガラス繊維を含み、該不織ガラス繊維マット化粧張り用材料のガラス繊維はアクリル酸接着結合剤からなる接着結合剤で共に結合され、かつ
前記不織ガラス繊維マット化粧張り用材料は、(i)鉱物性顔料と(ii)ポリマー接着結合剤と選択的に(iii)無機接着結合剤とからなる乾燥水性混合物を含むコーティングを前記不織ガラスマット化粧張り用材料のフリーな面上に備える、石膏壁板。 - 石膏壁板であって、
