吸湿性フィルム1は、図1のように、基材または離型フィルム12上に形成されたゲッター層11を含むことができる。図示していないが、前記吸湿性フィルムは、また、基材または離型フィルムのような支持基材なしに前記ゲッター材を有し、常温で固相または半固相を維持するフィルムまたはシート形状のゲッター層のみを含む構造を有するか、1つの基材または離型フィルムの両面にゲッター層が形成されている構造またはゲッター層の両面に基材または離型フィルムが形成されている構造を有することができる。
1.吸湿性粒子の製造
無水エタノール100mlに30nmサイズのCaO(第1吸湿性粒子)粉末3gを添加してボールミル工程を24時間進行し、CaOスラリーを製造した。第2吸湿性粒子をCaOに表面処理するために、CaOスラリーに、Mg(OCH3)2がメタノールに10wt%で溶解された溶液3mlを添加した後、3時間撹拌する。これに酢酸溶液0.5mlを添加した後、さらに2時間撹拌する。反応物を遠心分離機を利用して固形分と溶媒を分離し、固形分を真空乾燥機装備で80℃を維持して乾燥させる。乾燥させた固形分を窒素雰囲気下で700℃、15分間か焼し、10nm厚さを有するように第2吸湿性粒子を表面処理する。第2吸湿性粒子が表面処理された第1吸湿性粒子を製造した。
前記で製造した吸湿性粒子(第2吸湿性粒子が表面処理された第1吸湿性粒子)を溶媒に分散させて均一に分布されるようにした。また、これとは別に、エポキシ樹脂(YD−128、KUKDO化学)100g及びフェノキシ樹脂(YP−70、DONGDO化成)70gをメチルエチルケトンで希釈した溶液(固形分70%)を製造した後、溶液を均質化した。前記均質化された溶液にあらかじめ準備した吸湿性粒子溶液250gを投入し、硬化剤であるイミダゾール(四国化成)5gを投入した後、1時間高速撹拌して、ゲッター層の溶液を製造した。
前記で準備しておいたゲッター層の溶液を離型PETの離型面にコンマコーターを使用して塗布し、乾燥機で130℃に3分間乾燥し、厚さが50μmのゲッター層を含む吸湿性フィルムを形成した。
メタノールに10wt%で溶解されたMg(OCH3)2溶液を0.5ml添加したことを除いて、実施例1と同一に実施し、吸湿性粒子及びこれを含む吸湿性フィルムを製造した。
30nmサイズのCaO粉末に表面処理をしないことを除いて、実施例1と同一に実施し、吸湿性フィルムを製造した。
200nmサイズのCaO粉末に表面処理をしないことを除いて、実施例1と同一に実施し、吸湿性フィルムを製造した。
前記比較例1で1μmサイズのCaO粉末を使用したことを除いて、同一に実施し、吸湿性フィルムを製造した。
前記実施例及び比較例を通じて製造したゲッター材(水分含量が0重量%)に対してそれぞれ1gをバイアル(vial)瓶に入れ、蓋をしない状態で恒温恒湿器に入れる。恒温恒湿器は、温度25℃、湿度70%を維持した。時間によって試料が収納されたバイアルの質量を測定し、初期1時間経過した後、水分含量を測定し、これを初期吸湿率として定義して比較した。その後、72時間以上経過して、これ以上の質量増加がないことを確認し、この際の吸湿量を吸湿総量として定義して比較した。
前記で実施例及び比較例で製造した吸湿性フィルムに対してUV−Vis Spectrometerを利用して440nmでの光透過度を測定し、ASTM D 1003標準試験方法によってヘイズを測定した。

- 平均粒径が10nm〜100nmの範囲内にある第1吸湿性粒子と;前記第1吸湿性粒子の表面を取り囲んでおり、前記第1吸湿性粒子より吸湿率が低い吸湿性を有する第2吸湿性粒子と;を含むゲッター材。
- 水分含量が0〜0.1重量%の状態で25℃、70%相対湿度で1時間維持した後に算出した水分含量が8重量%以下である、請求項1に記載のゲッター材。
