Abstract
Description
本発明は、血管内装置、システム及び方法に関する。いくつかの実施形態では、血管内装置は、1個以上の電子的、光学的又は電気光学的部品を備えるガイドワイヤである。
心臓病は非常に深刻であり、命を救うために緊急手術を必要とする場合が多い。心臓病の主な原因は、最終的に血管を閉塞させる血管内部のプラークの蓄積である。閉塞した血管を開くために利用可能な一般的な治療法の選択肢としては、バルーン血管形成術、回転アテローム切除術、及び血管内ステントがある。伝統的に、外科医は、治療を案内するために血管の内腔シルエットの外形を示す平面画像であるX線透視画像に頼ってきた。残念ながら、X線透視画像では、閉塞の原因となる狭窄の正確な範囲及び方向に関してかなりの不確実性があり、狭窄の正確な位置を見出すのは困難である。さらに、同じ場所で再狭窄が起こることが知られているが、手術後にX線で血管内部の状態を確認することは困難である。
本発明は、固体コアワイヤをその上に形成された又は巻き付けられた電気導体と共に有するガイドワイヤを備える血管内装置、システム及び方法に関する。

Claims (19)
- センシングガイドワイヤであって、
内側コア及び外側層を有する本体と、
前記外側層に埋設された1個以上の導体であって、前記本体に沿った1以上の位置で露出される前記導体と、
複数の露出位置にわたって積層された導電性材料と、
前記露出位置の一つで前記導電性材料を介して前記本体に結合されるセンサと
を備えるガイドワイヤ。 - 前記センサが圧力センサである、請求項1に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記圧力センサが結晶性半導体材料を含む、請求項2に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記センサが流量センサである、請求項1に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記流量センサが超音波トランスデューサを備える、請求項4に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記導電性材料が導電性インクである、請求項1に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記導電性インクが金を含む、請求項6に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記外側層がポリイミドから構成される、請求項1に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 前記ガイドワイヤが圧力センサ及び流量センサを備える、請求項1に記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 血管内部の特性を測定するための方法であって、
センシングガイドワイヤを準備することであって、内側コア及び外側層を有する本体と、前記外側層に埋設された1個以上の導体であって、前記本体に沿った1以上の位置で露出される前記導体と、複数の露出位置にわたって積層された導電性材料と、前記露出位置の一つで前記導電性材料を介して前記本体に結合されるセンサとを備える前記センシングガイドワイヤを準備すること、
前記ガイドワイヤを血管に挿入すること、及び、
前記センサを使用して前記血管内部の特性を測定すること
を含む方法。 - 前記センサが圧力センサであり、前記測定される特性が管腔内圧力である、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記圧力センサが結晶性半導体材料を含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記センサが流量センサであり、前記測定される特性が管腔内流量である、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記流量センサが超音波トランスデューサを備える、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記導電性材料が導電性インクである、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記導電性インクが金を含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記外側層がポリイミドから構成される、請求項10に記載の方法。

近位部及び反対の遠位部を有するシャフトを備える導電性コア部材を準備し;
