Claims (18)
- 正極、負極、及び前記正極と負極との間に介在した分離膜を含む構造の電極組立体が電池ケースに内蔵されている電池セルであって、
前記電極組立体は、電極端子の位置を基準とした垂直断面形状において、断面の幅が非連続的又は連続的に減少する変形部が外周面の少なくとも一部に形成されており、
前記電池ケースは、金属板材からなっており、電極組立体が内蔵された状態で互いに結合する2つ以上のケース部材を含んでおり、前記ケース部材のうちの少なくとも1つには、電極組立体の変形部に対応する内面形状を有する収納部が形成されていることを特徴とする、電池セル。 - 前記電極組立体は、巻取り型構造、スタック型構造、スタック&フォールディング(stack&folding)型構造、またはラミネーション&スタック(lamination&stack)型構造からなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電極組立体は、正極端子と負極端子が一側端部に共に形成されている構造、または正極端子が一側に形成され、負極端子が対向側に形成されている構造からなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電極組立体は、電極端子の位置を基準とした平面形状が円形、楕円形または多角形であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電極組立体は、電極端子の位置を基準とした平面形状が全体的に四角形であることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電極組立体の変形部は、電極組立体の厚さを基準として10〜90%の大きさの範囲において断面の幅が減少することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電極組立体の変形部は、断面の幅が非連続的に減少する段差構造からなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電極組立体は、全体的に板状の六面体構造からなっており、前記変形部は、電極組立体の対向する両面のうちの一側面または両側面に形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電池ケースは、電極組立体の収納部が形成されており、一側が開放されている第1ケース部材と、前記第1ケース部材の開放部位に結合されて収納部を密封する第2ケース部材とからなっており、前記第2ケース部材は、前記第1ケース部材の開放部位に対応する形状の平板状部材からなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記第1ケース部材と第2ケース部材は溶接により結合されることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の電池セル。
- 前記第1ケース部材または第2ケース部材は、電解液を注入するための電解液注入口を含むことを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電池ケースはアルミニウムまたはアルミニウム合金からなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電池ケースは0.1〜1mmの厚さを有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電極組立体の変形部に対応する電池ケースの収納部は、ドローイングまたは鍛造により形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記電池セルはリチウム二次電池であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 請求項1に記載の電池セルがパックケースに装着されていることを特徴とする、電池パック。
- 請求項1に記載の電池セルまたは請求項16に記載の電池パックを含むことを特徴とする、デバイス。
- 前記デバイスは、ノートブック、携帯電話、PDP、PMP、MP3プレーヤー、DSC(Digital Still Camera)、DVR、スマートフォン、GPSシステム、カムコーダー、電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車、プラグインハイブリッド電気自動車、及び電力貯蔵装置からなる群から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項17に記載のデバイス。
