Abstract
Description
また、ロゴやネーム等の文字や図柄をカバー表面にスタンプ処理によりマーキングする際、スタンプ転写不良を引き起こす頻度が高くなる。
〔1〕下記(A)〜(C)成分、
(A)オレフィンと炭素数3〜8個のα,β−不飽和カルボン酸との二元共重合体、及び/又はオレフィンと炭素数3〜8個のα,β−不飽和カルボン酸とそのα,β−不飽和カルボン酸エステルの三元共重合体、またはその金属中和物
(B)イソシアヌル酸またはハロゲン化イソシアヌル酸
(C)脂肪酸または脂肪酸金属塩
を必須成分として含有することを特徴とするゴルフボール用組成物。
〔2〕上記(C)成分の配合量が、基材樹脂100質量部に対して0.1〜3.0質量部である〔1〕記載のゴルフボール用組成物。
〔3〕上記(B)成分がイソシアヌル酸であり、その配合量が基材樹脂100質量部に対して0.2〜10質量部である〔1〕又は〔2〕記載のゴルフボール用組成物。
〔4〕JIS K6768に準じて測定したぬれ張力が69mN/m以上となる〔1〕、〔2〕又は〔3〕記載のゴルフボール用組成物。
〔5〕着色材として、蛍光染料を基材樹脂100質量部に対して0.03〜0.2質量部配合する〔1〕〜〔4〕のいずれか1項記載のゴルフボール用組成物。
〔6〕ゴルフボールのカバー材として用いられる〔1〕〜〔5〕のいずれか1項記載のゴルフボール用組成物。
本発明のゴルフボール用樹脂組成物は、下記(A)〜(C)成分、
(A)オレフィンと炭素数3〜8個のα,β−不飽和カルボン酸との二元共重合体、及び/又はオレフィンと炭素数3〜8個のα,β−不飽和カルボン酸とそのα,β−不飽和カルボン酸エステルの三元共重合体、またはその金属中和物
(B)イソシアヌル酸またはハロゲン化イソシアヌル酸
(C)脂肪酸または脂肪酸金属塩
を必須成分として含有するものである。
(ここで、Xは、水素原子、ハロゲン原子又はアルカリ金属原子を表し、ハロゲン化イソシアヌル酸においては、Xの少なくとも1個はハロゲン原子である。ハロゲン原子としては、F、Cl、Brが好ましく、特にClが好ましい。アルカリ金属原子としては、Li、Na、Kが好ましい。)
綿棒を使用して試薬を広げるようにし、液体は少なくとも6cm以上の面積に速やかに広げる。液体の量は、たまりを作らないで、薄層を形成する程度にする。ぬれ張力の判定は、試薬の液膜を明るいところで観察し、2秒後の液膜の状態で行う。液膜が破れを生じないで、2秒以上、塗布されたときの状態を保っているのは、ぬれていることになる。ぬれが2秒以上保つ場合は、さらに、次に表面張力の高い試薬に進み、また逆に、2秒以下で液膜が破れる場合は、次の表面張力の低い試薬に進む。この操作を繰り返し、試験片の表面を正確に2秒間でぬらすことができる試薬を選び、選ばれた試薬の表面張力(dyn/cm)の数値を、その試験片の濡れ性(指数)とする。
ゴルフボール用樹脂組成物の調製
下記表1に示すように、最外層用の樹脂組成物を調製した。また、各実施例及び比較例の樹脂組成物を試験片として、該試験片のぬれ張力をJIS K6768に準じて測定した。その結果を表1に併記する。
「サーリン8940,9945,9320」:デュポン社製のアイオノマー樹脂
「イソシアヌル酸」:日産化学工業社製
「ステアリン酸マグネシウム」:日油社製
「酸化チタン」:石原産業社製
「ソルベントグリーン5」:蛍光染料、住化ケムテックス社製「スミプラストFL7G」
JIS K6768に準じて測定した。具体的には、以下の手順で行う。
試薬として、春日電機社製のテンションチェッカー液を用いた。各組成物ごとに、1mm厚のシートを作成し、前述の試薬テンションチェッカー液を、綿棒を使用してシート表面に広げる。試験片の表面を正確に2秒間でぬらすことができる試薬を選び、選ばれた試薬の表面張力の数値を、その試験片の濡れ性(指数)とした。その結果を表1に併記する。
次に、ウレタン塗料を施す。具体的には、ボール表面に、亜細亜工業社製の蛍光増白剤含有のウレタン塗料をスプレー塗装法により施した。
「シス−1,4−ポリブタジエン」:JSR社製、商品名「BR01」
「硫酸バリウム」:ハクスイテック社製、商品名「バリコ#100」
「ステアリン酸亜鉛」:日油社製
「老化防止剤」:2,2’−メチレンビス(4−メチル−6−t−ブチルフェノール)、商品名「ノクラックNS−6」(大内新興化学工業社製)
「ペンタクロロチオフェノール亜鉛塩」:
「アクリル酸亜鉛」:日本蒸留工業製
「有機過酸化物(1)」:日油社製の商品名「パークミルD」ジクミルパーオキサイド
「有機過酸化物(2)」:日油社製の商品名「パーヘキサC−40」(日油社製)1,1−ジ(t−ブチルパーオキシ)シクロヘキサンとシリカとの混合物
「HPF2000」:Dupont社製の「HPF(商標)2000」
23.9±1℃の温度で、任意の表面5箇所を測定し、その平均値を1個のコア、包囲層被覆球体、中間層被覆球体の測定値とし、測定個数5個のコア、包囲層被覆球体、中間層被覆球体の平均値を求めた。
23.9±1℃の温度で、任意のディンプルのない部分を15箇所測定し、その平均値を1個のボールの測定値とし、測定個数5個のボールの平均値を求めた。
前述の蛍光増白剤含有のウレタン塗料を塗布・乾燥したゴルフボールを、紫外光照射下で発色させる。もし塗膜の厚みに斑がある場合には、発色の明暗で容易に目視判断することができる。本実施例においては、塗り斑の発生率により下記の基準に従って塗膜密着性の評価を行った。
○:塗り斑の発生率が1000個中20個未満
×:塗り斑の発生率が1000個中20個以上
カバー材を射出成型した後、15〜25℃に冷却した金型内部で30秒間冷却し、ボールを取り出す状態について、下記の基準により評価した。
○:取り出すときに、突き出しピンで傷つかない。
×:突き出しピンで傷が付く。
比較例1は、イソシアヌル酸を含まない組成物であり、その結果として、実施例1と比べて塗装密着状態が悪い。
比較例2は、イソシアヌル酸を含まない組成物であり、その結果として、比較例1と同様、塗装密着状態が悪い。
比較例3は、イソシアヌル酸を含まない組成物であり、その結果として、実施例4と比べて塗装密着状態が悪い。
比較例4は、イソシアヌル酸を含むものの、ステアリン酸マグネシウムを含まない組成物であり、その結果として、実施例5に対して射出成型の際の金型脱型性が悪い。
Claims (6)
- 下記(A)〜(C)成分、
(A)オレフィンと炭素数3〜8個のα,β−不飽和カルボン酸との二元共重合体、及び/又はオレフィンと炭素数3〜8個のα,β−不飽和カルボン酸とそのα,β−不飽和カルボン酸エステルの三元共重合体、またはその金属中和物
(B)イソシアヌル酸またはハロゲン化イソシアヌル酸
(C)脂肪酸または脂肪酸金属塩
を必須成分として含有することを特徴とするゴルフボール用樹脂組成物。 - 上記(C)成分の配合量が、基材樹脂100質量部に対して0.1〜3.0質量部である請求項1記載のゴルフボール用樹脂組成物。
- 上記(B)成分がイソシアヌル酸であり、その配合量が基材樹脂100質量部に対して0.2〜10質量部である請求項1又は2記載のゴルフボール用樹脂組成物。
- JIS K6768に準じて測定したぬれ張力が69mN/m以上となる請求項1、2又は3記載のゴルフボール用樹脂組成物。
- 着色材として、蛍光染料を基材樹脂100質量部に対して0.03〜0.2質量部配合する請求項1〜4のいずれか1項記載のゴルフボール用樹脂組成物。
- ゴルフボールのカバー材として用いられる請求項1〜5のいずれか1項記載のゴルフボール用樹脂組成物。
