Abstract
【解決手段】オーディオ機器10は、音響回路本体である負荷回路12とスピーカー等と共に、ACアダプタ8側に保護回路20を含んで構成される。保護回路20は、ACアダプタ8に接続される入力端子22と、負荷回路12に接続される出力端子24と、入力端子22から出力端子24に向かって延びる給電ライン25と、給電ライン25に沿ってスイッチ部26とDC/DCコンバータ28と、給電ライン25における電圧状態、電流状態を検出して、DC/DCコンバータ28と負荷回路12を保護する保護回路部30が設けられる。

Claims (4)
- ACアダプタから供給される電力で動作する負荷回路を保護する保護回路であって、
該ACアダプタに接続される入力端子からDC/DCコンバータを介して該負荷回路に接続される出力端子に向かって延びる給電ラインと、
該入力端子と該DC/DCコンバータとの間に設けられるスイッチ部と、
過電圧または過電流が検出されるときに該DC/DCコンバータの動作を停止して該負荷回路を保護する保護回路部と、
を備え、
該保護回路部は、
該入力端子における供給電圧が予め定めた過電圧閾値を超すときにオンする過電圧検出素子と、
該給電ラインに流れる電流が予め定めた過電流閾値を超すときにオンする過電流検出素子と、
該過電圧検出素子と該過電流検出素子を互いに並列接続した接続点と接地電位との間に直列に接続される異常検出抵抗素子、及び該異常検出抵抗素子の端子電圧でオンオフする異常検出トランジスタを有し、該異常検出トランジスタがオフのときに該DC/DCコンバータを動作可能としオンのときに該DC/DCコンバータを動作停止させる制御信号を出力する制御信号出力部と、
を含む、保護回路。 - 請求項1に記載の保護回路において、
前記スイッチ部は、
前記入力端子と前記DC/DCコンバータの間に直列接続されて配置されるスイッチング素子と、
該スイッチング素子に並列に接続され、該スイッチング素子のオン抵抗よりも大きな抵抗値を有する電流制限抵抗素子と、
該電流制限抵抗素子に電流が流れるときに該スイッチング素子をオンさせるスイッチ制御素子と、
を含み、
該スイッチング素子は、該電流制限抵抗素子と該スイッチ制御素子を流れる電流の遅延時間に応じて、オンするタイミングが前記ACアダプタから電力が供給開始した時点よりも遅延する、保護回路。 - 請求項2に記載の保護回路において、
前記保護回路部は、
前記異常検出トランジスタの出力端子と前記接地電位との間に設けられるレベル変換素子によって前記制御信号の電圧レベルを所定の分圧比で低下させたイネーブル信号を生成し、前記入力端子からの供給電圧が所定の低電圧閾値未満のときに該イネーブル信号の電圧レベルを前記DC/DCコンバータの動作閾値電圧未満として、該異常検出トランジスタがオフであっても該DC/DCコンバータの動作を停止させる低電圧保護部を有する、保護回路。 - 請求項2または3に記載の保護回路において、
前記保護回路部は、
前記電流制限抵抗素子の出力側端子と前記接地電位の間に設けられ、該電流制限抵抗素子の出力側端子の電圧が予め定めた最大定格電圧を超すときにオンして、該最大定格電圧を超える電圧が前記DC/DCコンバータに供給されることを防止する定格電圧保護部を有する、保護回路。
