前記第1ピストンと共に前記第1係合油室を画成し、かつ前記第2ピストンと共に前記第1係合油室よりも径方向外側に前記第2係合油室を画成するドラム部材を備え、
前記ドラム部材は、前記第1ピストンおよび該第1ピストンと共に前記第1遠心油圧キャンセル室を画成するキャンセル室画成部材を支持する内筒部と、前記第2ピストンと共に前記第1遠心油圧キャンセル室よりも径方向外側に前記第2遠心油圧キャンセル室を画成するキャンセル室画成部と、前記第1遠心油圧キャンセル室と連通するように前記内筒部に形成されたキャンセル室用油孔と、径方向に延在して前記第2遠心油圧キャンセル室と連通するキャンセル室用油路とを有し、

前記第1および第2係合油室用凹部と前記第1または第2キャンセル室用凹部との前記周方向における間隔は、前記第1キャンセル室用凹部と前記第2キャンセル室用凹部との前記周方向における間隔よりも長いことを特徴とする変速装置。 - 請求項1から4の何れか一項にに記載の変速装置において、
前記第1クラッチは、前記第1ピストンと前記キャンセル室画成部材との間に配置されるリターンスプリングを含み、
前記第1遠心油圧キャンセル室のチャンバ径は、前記第1係合油室のチャンバ径よりも大きいことを特徴とする変速装置。 - 請求項5に記載の変速装置において、
前記第1ピストンは、前記第1環状壁部に向けて軸方向に延びる筒状の延出部と、前記延出部の内周面よりも径方向外側で該延出部とは反対側に延びると共に前記キャンセル室画成部材の外周部に装着されたシール部材と摺接する凹円柱面とを有し、
前記ドラム部材は、前記第1ピストンの前記延出部が嵌合される環状凹部と、前記環状凹部を規定すると共に前記延出部の内周面と摺接する円柱面とを有し、
前記第1ピストンの前記延出部と前記ドラム部材の前記円柱面との間には、シール部材が配置されることを特徴とする変速装置。 - 請求項5または6に記載の変速装置において、
前記キャンセル室画成部材の内周部には、前記キャンセル油を流出させる油孔が形成されていることを特徴とする変速装置。 - 請求項1から7の何れか一項に記載の変速装置において、
前記ドラム部材は、前記第1ピストンと共に前記第1係合油室を画成する第1クラッチドラムと、前記第1クラッチドラムに接合されて前記第2ピストンと共に前記第1係合油室よりも径方向外側に前記第2係合油室を画成する第2クラッチドラムとを含み、
前記第1クラッチドラムは、前記内筒部と、前記キャンセル室画成部と、前記内筒部の外側で軸方向に延在すると共に第1摩擦係合プレートの外周部が嵌合される第1外筒部と、前記内筒部と前記第1外筒部との間で径方向に延在するように前記内筒部および前記第1外筒部と一体に成形された第1環状壁部とを有し、
前記第2クラッチドラムは、前記第2ピストンを支持する第2内筒部と、前記第2内筒部の外側で軸方向に延在すると共に第2摩擦係合プレートの外周部が嵌合される第2外筒部と、前記第2内筒部と前記第2外筒部との間で径方向に延在するように前記第2内筒部および前記第2外筒部と一体に成形された第2環状壁部とを有することを特徴とする変速装置。
