Description
次に、変形例1について説明する。変形例1に係る光モジュールは、FPC19における配線を除き、上記実施例に係る光モジュール10と同様の構成を有する。従って、変形例1では、上記実施例と共通する構成要素には、同一の参照符号を用いると共に、その詳細な説明は省略する。
次に、変形例2について説明する。変形例2に係る光モジュールは、FPC19上に電力供給線を有する点を除き、上記実施例に係る光モジュール10と同様の構成を有する。従って、変形例2では、上記実施例と共通する構成要素には、同一の参照符号を用いると共に、その詳細な説明は省略する。
上述した光モジュール10を用いた光変調器は、クロストークの低減と高い実装性とを両立し得ることから、例えば、送信機への適用が有効である。図5は、上記実施例及び変形例に係る光モジュール10の実装された送信機100の構成を示す図である。図5に示す様に、送信機100は、データ生成回路101と光変調器102と光ファイバ103とを有する。また、データ生成回路101はドライバ101aを有し、光変調器102はLD(Laser Diode)102aを有する。これら各構成部分は、一方向又は双方向に、各種信号やデータの入出力が可能な様に接続されている。データ生成回路101により生成されたデータは、光変調器102により、電気信号から光信号に変換された後、光ファイバ103を伝送媒体として、装置外部に送信される。

Claims (6)
- 第1端子と、
基板上の複数の第2端子と、
前記基板上において、前記複数の第2端子よりも電極側に配置された複数の第3端子と、
前記複数の第2端子から、前記第1端子の反対側を通って前記電極に達する複数の配線と
を有することを特徴とする光モジュール。 - 前記複数の配線は、前記複数の第3端子の内、前記第1端子から最も遠い第3端子を迂回する様に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光モジュール。
- 前記第1端子は、RF(Radio Frequency)信号の入力端子であり、
前記複数の第2端子及び前記複数の第3端子は、DC(Direct Current)信号の入力端子であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光モジュール。 - 前記複数の配線は、前記基板の表面と裏面とに交互に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光モジュール。
- 前記第1端子と前記複数の第2端子との間の前記基板上に、第4端子を更に有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光モジュール。
- 前記第4端子からの配線は、前記複数の配線よりも太く形成されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の光モジュール。
