Abstract
Description
請求項3に記載の静電塗装装置は、前記可変抵抗器の抵抗値は前記電極の出力電流の大きさが目標値または目標範囲内に収束するように電気的に調整されるところに特徴を有する。
導電リング30をグランドに可変抵抗器32を介して接続した。このため、コロナ電極9の出力電流がアースリングERを使用していた従来に比べて低くなるので、塗装対象物8への電界強度E2が高められる。従って、飛行中の帯電塗料に働く静電気力が従来に比べて強まることに応じて塗装対象物8の近傍での随伴気流による帯電塗料の飛散量が減少するので、塗装対象物8に対する帯電塗料の塗着効率が向上する。
上記実施例1においては、制御回路6が塗着効率スイッチ40の操作内容に応じて塗着効率を数値で設定する構成としても良い。
導電リング30の配線経路31に可変抵抗器51を介在した。このため、可変抵抗器51の抵抗値を調整することに応じてコロナ電極9の出力電流が調整され、コロナ電極9の出力電流が調整されることに応じて塗装対象物8への電界強度E2が調整される。従って、可変抵抗器51の抵抗値を調整することに応じて塗装対象物8に対する帯電塗料の塗着効率が調整される。
Claims (3)
- グランドに接続された塗装対象物に向けて塗料を噴霧するノズルと、
前記ノズルから噴霧された塗料を帯電させるための電極と、
前記電極との間に電界を生成するためのものであって、配線経路を介してグランドに接続された導電体を備え、
前記導電体の配線経路には、抵抗が介在されていることを特徴とする静電塗装装置。 - 前記導電体の配線経路には、前記抵抗として可変抵抗器が介在されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の静電塗装装置。
- 前記可変抵抗器の抵抗値は、前記電極の出力電流の大きさが目標値または目標範囲内に収束するように電気的に調整されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の静電塗装装置。
