Description
上記実施形態では、内部ロータ3は、第2部材3bが第1部材3aと第1部材3aの径方向に重複する部分を有するように形成されるとして説明したが、第2部材3bが第1部材3aと第1部材3aの軸方向に重複する部分を有するように形成することも可能である。係る場合、進角流路11a及び遅角流路11bの少なくとも一方が、第1部分71と第2部分72とを有して構成される。このような弁開閉時期制御装置1の断面図が図8に示される。

Claims (4)
- 内燃機関のクランクシャフトと同期回転する駆動側回転体と、
前記駆動側回転体の内周側に前記駆動側回転体の回転軸芯と同一回転軸芯上に相対回転可能に配置され、前記内燃機関の弁開閉用のカムシャフトと同期回転する従動側回転体と、
前記駆動側回転体と前記従動側回転体との間に形成された流体圧室と、
前記従動側回転体の外周側に設けられた仕切部で前記流体圧室を仕切ることにより形成される進角室及び遅角室と、
前記従動側回転体に形成され、前記進角室に連通する進角流路と、
前記従動側回転体に形成され、前記遅角室に連通する遅角流路と、
前記進角流路及び前記遅角流路を流通する加圧流体の給排を制御して前記駆動側回転体に対する前記従動側回転体の回転位相を制御する位相制御部と、を備え、
前記従動側回転体は、前記仕切部が設けられた筒状の第1部材と、当該第1部材と同一回転軸芯上に設けられ、前記第1部材の径方向及び軸方向のうち少なくとも前記第1部材の径方向の内側に重複する部分を有する筒状の第2部材とを有し、
前記進角流路と前記遅角流路とが、前記第1部材と前記第2部材とを組み込んだ後、前記第1部材と前記第2部材との境界部を貫通して形成されている弁開閉時期制御装置。 - 前記進角流路及び前記遅角流路は、前記境界部において前記第1部材及び前記第2部材の一方が前記第1部材及び前記第2部材の他方に食い込む食込部が形成されている請求項1に記載の弁開閉制御装置。
- 前記進角流路及び前記遅角流路が、前記従動側回転体を前記第1部材の径方向に貫通していると共に、前記従動側回転体の外周面に設けられた凹部に開口している請求項1又は2に記載の弁開閉時期制御装置。
- 前記第2部材が前記第1部材と軸方向に重複し、前記進角流路及び前記遅角流路の少なくとも一方が、前記第1部材の径方向に沿って延びる第1部分と、前記第1部材及び前記第2部材の軸方向に沿って延びる第2部分とを有し、前記第1部分及び第2部分は連通する請求項1又は2に記載の弁開閉時期制御装置。
