Abstract
Description
フルオロシランを用いたグラフェン表面処理を行い、改良された均一性を有するグラフェン/PFAコンポジットの組成物を開発した。この目的を達成するために、乾燥粉末形態のグラフェン平板を、数種類の異なるフルオロシランカップリング剤((3,3,3−トリフルオロプロピル)トリクロロシラン;ノナフルオロ−1,1,2,2−テトラ−ヒドロヘキシル)トリクロロシラン;ペンタフルオロフェニルプロピルトリクロロシランおよび(トリデカフルオロ−1,1,2,2−テトラ−ヒドロオクチル)トリクロロシランを含む)で処理した。シラン処理を行っていないサンプル(図2A)、(ノナフルオロ−1,1,2,2−テトラ−ヒドロヘキシル)トリクロロシランで処理したサンプル(図2B)および(トリデカフルオロ−1,1,2,2−テトラ−ヒドロオクチル)トリクロロシランで処理したサンプル(図2C)についてSEM分析を行った。
実施例2A−グラフェン表面の処理:0.6g(0.5%)のグラフェン(STREM 06−0210)を、60%の出力で2時間音波処理することによって、0.6gの(トリデカフルオロ−1,1,2,2−テトラ−ヒドロオクチル)トリクロロシラン(Gelest、SIT8174.0)を含む120gのシクロヘキサノン(CHN)溶液に分散させた。過剰な液体連続相およびフルオロシランを遠心分離処理によって除去することによって、3重量%のグラフェン分散物を得た。
2%の実施例2Bのグラフェン/PFAコンポジット分散物をドローダウンコーティングによってシリコーンゴム基材に塗布し、次いで、340℃のオーブンで15分焼くことによって、コンポジットコーティングを製造した。
Claims (10)
- 組成物であって、
液体連続相と;
液体連続相に分散した複数のコンポジット粒子とを含み、コンポジット粒子は、それぞれ、フルオロシラン処理したグラフェンを含む粒子とフルオロポリマー粒子とを含む、組成物。 - 組成物が、さらに、犠牲ポリマーバインダーを含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 犠牲ポリマーバインダーは、ポリ(アルキレンカーボネート)、ポリ(アクリル酸)、アクリル系コポリマー、メタクリル系コポリマー、ポリ(メタクリル酸)およびこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項2に記載の組成物。
- フルオロシラン処理したグラフェンを含む粒子は、グラフェンを含む粒子を、フッ素で置換された少なくとも6個の炭素原子を含む直鎖フルオロアルキル置換基を含むトリクロロシラン化合物で処理することによって製造される、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- フルオロシラン処理したグラフェンを含む粒子は、フルオロシラン処理したグラフェン、フルオロシラン処理したグラフェン平板およびこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- フルオロポリマー粒子は、フルオロプラスチック樹脂である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- フルオロシラン処理したグラフェン/フルオロカーボンポリマーコンポジットを製造するためのプロセスであって、このプロセスは、
グラフェンを含む粒子、フルオロシラン化合物および第1の液体連続相を混合し、フルオロシラン処理したグラフェンを含む粒子分散物を作製することと;
フルオロシラン処理したグラフェンを含む粒子と、フルオロカーボンポリマー分散物とを混合し、第2の液体連続相中に、フルオロカーボンポリマー粒子に付着したフルオロシラン処理したグラフェンを含む粒子を含むコンポジット粒子の分散物を作製することとを含む、プロセス。 - フルオロシランは、(3,3,3−トリフルオロプロピル)トリクロロシラン、ノナフルオロヘキシルトリクロロシラン、ノナフルオロヘキシルトリメトキシシラン、ノナフルオロヘキシルトリアルコキシシラン、ペンタフルオロフェニルプロピルトリクロロシラン、ペンタフルオロフェニルプロピルトリメトキシシラン、ペンタフルオロフェニルプロピルトリアルコキシシラン、(トリデカフルオロ−1,1,2,2−テトラ−ヒドロオクチル)トリクロロシラン、(トリデカフルオロ−1,1,2,2−テトラ−ヒドロオクチル)トリアルコキシシラン、ペルフルオロアルキルエチルトリエトキシシラン、(トリデカフルオロ−1,1,2,2−テトラ−ヒドロオクチル)トリクロロシラン、(3,3,3−トリフルオロプロピル)トリアルコキシシラン、ペルフルオロドデシル−1H,1H,2H,2H−トリエトキシシラン、p−トリフルオロメチルテトラフルオロフェニルトリエトキシシランおよびこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項7に記載のプロセス。
- 基材と;
基材の上に形成されたコンポジット層とを備え、コンポジット層が、複数のフルオロシラン処理したグラフェンを含む粒子と、フルオロカーボンポリマーとを含む、物品。 - 物品が、フューザー部材、加圧ローラーおよび剥離剤供与体からなる群から選択されるゼログラフィー要素である、請求項9に記載の物品。
