まず、本実施形態に係るX線CT装置について説明する前に、フォトンカウンティングCTについて説明する。

Claims (14)
- X線量に対する応答特性が異なる複数種類の検出素子を含む複数の検出素子を有し、各検出素子へのX線光子の入射に応じて検出信号を出力する検出器と、
前記複数の検出素子が出力した検出信号から、X線光子を計数した計数結果を収集する計数結果収集部と、
前記複数の検出素子が出力した検出信号から、計数率を算出する計数率算出部と、
前記計数率と、前記複数の検出素子それぞれの応答特性に基づいて、検出素子を選択する制御部と、
前記制御部が選択した検出素子から得られた計数結果を用いて、X線CT画像データを再構成する画像再構成部と、
を備える、X線CT装置。 - 前記複数の検出素子それぞれの応答特性を記憶する記憶部、
を更に備える、請求項1に記載のX線CT装置。 - 前記画像再構成部は、前記計数率が所定の閾値以上である場合、応答特性が所定の値以下である検出素子群の計数結果を用いて、X線CT画像データを再構成する、請求項1又は2に記載のX線CT装置。
- 前記検出器は、応答特性の高い検出素子と、応答特性の低い検出素子とが空間的に混在して配置される、請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載のX線CT装置。
- 前記応答特性の高い検出素子と、前記応答特性の低い検出素子とは、交互に配置される、請求項4に記載のX線CT装置。
- 前記応答特性の低い検出素子には、入射するX線光子の数を減少させるフィルタが設けられる、請求項4又は5に記載のX線CT装置。
- 前記画像再構成部は、前記計数率が前記所定の閾値より小さい場合、当該所定の閾値に対応するX線量より小さいX線量で応答特性が略線形となる種類の検出素子群の計数結果を用いて、X線CT画像データを再構成する、請求項3〜6のいずれか1つに記載のX線CT装置。
- 前記画像再構成部は、前記計数率が前記所定の閾値より小さい場合、前記複数種類の検出素子の計数結果を重み付け加算した計数結果を用いて、X線CT画像データを再構成する、請求項3〜6のいずれか1つに記載のX線CT装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記計数結果収集部が収集した計数結果の中で、前記計数率に応じて選択した応答特性の検出素子から得られた計数結果を用いて再構成処理を行なうよう前記画像再構成部を制御する、請求項1〜8のいずれか1つに記載のX線CT装置。
- 前記計数結果収集部は、前記制御部の指示により、前記計数率に応じた応答特性の検出素子から得られた計数結果を選択し、選択した計数結果を前記画像再構成部に出力する、請求項1〜9のいずれか1つに記載のX線CT装置。
- 前記計数率算出部は、前記計数率を、X線を照射するX線管の位相ごとに算出する、請求項1〜10のいずれか1つに記載のX線CT装置。
- 前記計数率算出部は、X線CT画像データの撮像中に、前記計数率を、X線を照射するX線管の任意の位相で算出する、請求項1〜10のいずれか1つに記載のX線CT装置。
- 前記計数率算出部は、スキャノグラムの撮像中に、前記計数率を算出する、請求項1〜10のいずれか1つに記載のX線CT装置。
- 放射線量に対する応答特性が異なる複数種類の検出素子を含む複数の検出素子を有し、各検出素子への放射線光子の入射に応じて検出信号を出力する検出器と、
前記複数の検出素子が出力した検出信号から、放射線光子を計数した計数結果を収集する計数結果収集部と、
前記複数の検出素子が出力した検出信号から、計数率を算出する計数率算出部と、
前記計数率と、前記複数の検出素子それぞれの応答特性に基づいて、検出素子を選択する制御部と、
前記制御部が選択した検出素子から得られた計数結果を用いて、医用画像データを再構成する画像再構成部と、
を備えたことを特徴とする医用画像診断装置。
