本発明は、一般的には、バリュードキュメントの偽造に対する保護の分野に関する。特に本発明は、感熱消去可能インク組成物及びそのような感熱消去可能インクを含有するリフィルを含むペンの使用を伴う偽造に対するバリュードキュメントの保護に関する。
特許文献中では熱変色性着色性色記憶組成物(Thermochromic Coloring Color−Memory Composition)とも呼ばれている感熱消去可能インクを含有するインクリフィルを含む新式のボールペンの商業化が、機密文書の分野における危険の存在の可能性を示す。

実施例1aの書き込まれた字句は、ペンのゴムチップによりこすられ、ゴムチップによる時間延長されたこすりの後でさえも、その字句は裸眼で見え続けた(図1bに示されている試料の写真)。或いはそれとは別に、書き付けられた字句は、シガレットライターの裸火にさらされ、この場合も、その字句は見え続けた。同様の結果が、書き付けられた字句が別の熱源、例えば、ヘアドライヤーにさらされた場合にも得られた。
実施例1bの試料の字句が、シュウ酸の10%水溶液で覆われ、水溶液は、字句の跡を追って綿パッドにより塗布された。毛管現象の吸収が、紙の基材上の酸水溶液の広がりの中にもたらされ(図1cに示されている試料の写真)、企てられた偽造は、背景上に酸の水溶液によって残されたマークによって証明された。図1cは、実施例1cの写真である。図1c(実施例1c)は、熱処理によって処理されたインディシアを担持する実施例1bの文書上で行われた上記偽造の企てを明らかにしている。図1cにおいて、インディシアは裸眼ではほとんど見えず、しかしながら、基材の酸処理は、不堅牢背景インク層上に目に見える跡を残す。
実施例1bの試料の字句が、硫酸の20%水溶液により、実施例1cと同じ方法で覆われた(下の図1dに示されている試料)。図1dは、実施例1dの結果を示している。実施例1dは、シュウ酸溶液の代わりに20%の硫酸溶液が使用されたこと以外は実施例1cと同じである。この場合、手書きのインディシアは、不堅牢背景インク層上に酸溶液によって残された跡に沿ってはっきりと目に見える。
実施例3aは、インディシアを手書きするために三菱からの黒のユニボールファントム(商標)ペンが使用された以外は、実施例1aと同じ方法で調製された(図3a)。
比較例1a
オフセット印刷用溶媒反応性インクが、以下の成分を混合することによって調製された:
(この場合インク組成物はハロクロミック化合物を含んでいないこと以外は実施例1におけるものと同じ溶媒反応性インク組成物であり、ワニス及び染料の重量%は、それに応じて調整されている(インクの不堅牢特性には影響がない)。
Claims (22)
- インディシアが設けられるべき基材に塗布するための溶媒型又は紫外線硬化性不堅牢インク組成物であって、インク組成物が、少なくとも1つのハロクロミック化合物及び少なくとも1つの充填剤化合物を含み、インディシア、そのインディシアは不堅牢インク組成物を担持する基材の領域に感熱消去可能インクにより形成されてその後熱処理にかけられたものである、が裸眼で見えなくなることを防ぐことができる、インク組成物。
- 少なくとも1つの充填剤化合物が、炭素繊維、タルク、マイカ、ウォラストナイト、焼成クレー、カオリン、炭酸塩、ケイ酸塩(例えば、ケイ酸マグネシウム、ケイ酸アルミニウム)、硫酸塩、チタン酸塩、二酸化チタン、モンモリロナイト、グラファイト、バーミキュライト、木粉、石英粉、天然繊維、合成繊維及びそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載のインク組成物。
- 少なくとも1つの充填剤化合物が、タルク、マイカ、ウォラストナイト、焼成クレー、カオリン、ケイ酸塩、炭酸塩、モンモリロナイト及びそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載のインク組成物。
- 感熱消去可能インクが、水性インクである、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のインク組成物。
- 少なくとも1つのハロクロミック化合物が、7.0以下のpHでpH変化にさらされたとき、その色を変化させる、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のインク組成物。
- 少なくとも1つのハロクロミック化合物が、低いpHにおける無色又は淡色の状態からより高いpHにおいて(より)着色した状態にその色を変化させる、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のインク組成物。
- 組成物の全重量に基づいて、0.1重量%〜5重量%、好ましくは0.5重量%〜2重量%の少なくとも1つのハロクロミック化合物を含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のインク組成物。
- 紫外光の照射により発光性になる少なくとも1つの有機色素をさらに含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のインク組成物。
- インク組成物の全重量に基づいて、1重量%〜15重量%、好ましくは1重量%〜10重量%、より好ましくは1重量%〜5重量%の少なくとも1つの有機色素を含む、請求項8に記載のインク組成物。
- ワックス、溶媒、及び酸化防止剤、乾燥剤、染料、消泡添加剤、紫外線安定剤、並びに光開始剤からなる群から選択される1つ又は複数の添加剤をさらに含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のインク組成物。
- 溶媒反応性インク、水不堅牢インク、機械的に消去可能なインク、溶媒反応性及び水不堅牢インク、溶媒反応性及び機械的に消去可能なインク、並びに水不堅牢性及び溶媒反応性及び機械的に消去可能なインクからなる群から選択される、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のインク組成物。
- 蒸発乾燥性インク、吸収乾燥性インク、酸化乾燥性インク、及び放射線硬化性インクからなる群から選択される、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載のインク組成物。
- インク組成物を担持する基材の領域に感熱消去可能インクが塗布されたインディシアが最初に熱処理され、その後酸性液により処理されたとき、前記領域上に裸眼で見えるマークを残すことができる、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載のインク組成物。
- その表面の少なくとも1つの領域に請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載の不堅牢インク組成物を含む基材。
- 商品、バリュードキュメント、身分証明書、アイデンティティーカード、パスポート、運転免許証、銀行小切手、振替オーダー、バウチャー、受託証、捺印証書、及び証明書からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つである、請求項14に記載の基材。
- 請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載の不堅牢インク組成物を製造する方法であって、従来の不堅牢インク組成物を少なくとも1つのハロクロミック化合物と組み合わせるステップを含む、方法。
- 不堅牢インク組成物が、溶媒反応性インク、水不堅牢インク、機械的に消去可能なインク、溶媒反応性及び水不堅牢インク、溶媒反応性及び機械的に消去可能なインク、並びに水不堅牢性及び溶媒反応性及び機械的に消去可能なインクからなる群から選択され、及び/又は蒸発乾燥性インク、吸収乾燥性インク、酸化乾燥性インク、及び放射線硬化性インクからなる群から選択される、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 商品又は機密文書を偽造から保護する方法であって、請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載の不堅牢インク組成物をインディシアが設けられるべき商品又は文書の少なくとも1つの領域に塗布するステップを含む、方法。
- インク組成物が、印刷方式により、好ましくはオフセット、フレキソ、グラビア、インクジェット、凸版及びスクリーン印刷からなる群から選択される1つ又は複数により塗布される、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 不堅牢インク組成物が、蒸発乾燥性インク、吸収乾燥性インク、酸化乾燥性インク、及び放射線硬化性インクからなる群から選択される、請求項18及び19のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載の不堅牢インク組成物の使用であって、インディシア、そのインディシアは不堅牢インク組成物を担持する基材の領域に感熱消去可能インクにより形成されてその後熱処理にかけられた、が裸眼で見えなくなることを防ぐための、使用。
- 前記不堅牢インク組成物が、インク組成物を担持する基材の領域に、前記領域に感熱消去可能インクにより塗布されたインディシアが最初に熱処理され、その後酸性液により処理されたとき、裸眼で見えるマークを残すことができる、請求項21に記載の使用。
