Abstract
Description
以下の表1は、本発明の様々な態様に従う、様々なコーティング混合物を列記するものである。
1: 「I」はイソプロパノールである。
2: 「A」はポリ(3,3,3-トリフルオロプロピルメチルシロキサン)であり、「B」は15〜20%のトリデカフルオロオクチルメチルシロキサンと80〜85%のジメチルシロキサンとのコポリマーである。
以下の表2は、実施例1に従って製造したコーティングについて実施した幾つかの性能テストの結果を示すものである。この表において、「スペック(Spec)」とは、実施したテストに関する形式上の手順を意味し;「基準に合格(Pass Criteria)」とは、或るサンプルが該テストに合格するための、%透過率(%T)における許容変化を意味し;「N」とは、テストしたサンプル/実験の数(回数)であり;また「結果ΔT」とは、該N個(回)のサンプル/実験に関する%透過率(%T)における観測された変化の平均値である。
Claims (20)
- 加水分解されたアルコキシシラン、加水分解されたオルガノシラン、および加水分解されたオルガノフルオロシランを含むゾルから形成された乾燥ゲルを含み、
該乾燥ゲルが、反射防止性、耐摩耗性、かつ撥水性を含むことを特徴とする、コーティング。 - 前記アルコキシシランがテトラメトキシシランを含み、前記オルガノシランがメチルトリメトキシシランを含み、かつ前記オルガノフルオロシランがトリフルオロプロピルトリメトキシシランを含む、請求項1記載のコーティング。
- 前記アルコキシシランがテトラエトキシシランを含み、前記オルガノシランがメチルトリメトキシシランを含み、かつ前記オルガノフルオロシランがトリフルオロプロピルトリメトキシシランを含む、請求項1記載のコーティング。
- 前記アルコキシシランがテトラメトキシシランを含み、前記オルガノシランがメチルトリメトキシシランを含み、かつ前記オルガノフルオロシランが(トリデカフルオロ-1,1,2,2-テトラヒドロオクチル)トリメトキシシランを含む、請求項1記載のコーティング。
- 前記アルコキシシランがテトラエトキシシランを含み、前記オルガノシランがメチルトリメトキシシランを含み、かつ前記オルガノフルオロシランが(トリデカフルオロ-1,1,2,2-テトラヒドロオクチル)トリメトキシシランを含む、請求項1記載のコーティング。
- 前記ゾルが、加水分解されたアルコキシシランを含む第一のゾルと、加水分解されたオルガノシランおよび加水分解されたオルガノフルオロシランの混合物を含有する第二のゾルとの混合物を含む、請求項1記載のコーティング。
- 前記ゾルが、約0.2〜約2なる範囲の、前記テトラアルコキシシラン対前記オルガノシランおよび前記オルガノフルオロシランの総量の相対的質量%比を持つ、請求項1記載のコーティング。
- 前記ゾルが、約0.5〜約1.5なる範囲の、前記オルガノシラン対前記オルガノフルオロシランの相対的質量%比を持つ、請求項1記載のコーティング。
- 前記乾燥ゲルが、前記ゾル;アルコール、エステル、エーテル、アルデヒド、およびケトンからなる群から選択される有機溶媒;および水を含む混合物から形成され、該混合物における該溶媒および該水の量が、約50〜約99.5質量%なる範囲にある、請求項1記載のコーティング。
- 前記溶媒対前記水の比が、質量基準で約5〜約20なる範囲にある、請求項9記載のコーティング。
- 前記乾燥ゲルが、150℃未満の温度にて硬化した場合に、標準的EN 1096.2研摩テストに合格するのに十分な耐摩耗性を持つ、請求項9記載のコーティング。
- 前記ゾルが、約0.001〜約2質量%なる範囲の量で酸触媒を更に含み、かつ該ゾルが、約1〜約4なる範囲のpHを持つ、請求項1記載のコーティング。
- 前記ゾルが、約0.001〜約2質量%なる範囲の量で塩基触媒を更に含み、かつ該ゾルが、約7〜約10なる範囲のpHを持つ、請求項1記載のコーティング。
- 前記ゾルが、約0.1〜約10質量%なる範囲の量で低分子量ポリマーを更に含む、請求項1記載のコーティング。
- 前記ゾルが、約0.1〜約2質量%なる範囲の量で粒径調節添加剤を更に含み、かつ該粒径調節添加剤を含まない同様なコーティングと比較して、約0.5〜約2.0%なる範囲の透過率増加をもたらす、請求項1記載のコーティング。
- 前記ゾルが、架橋添加剤を更に含む、請求項1記載のコーティング。
- 前記ゾルが、疎水性の反応性薬剤と反応し得る官能基を持つアルコキシシランプリカーサを更に含み、かつ、該乾燥ゲルを該疎水性の反応性試薬に暴露して、前記乾燥ゲルが、該官能基を持つアルコキシシランプリカーサおよび該疎水性の反応性試薬を含まない同様なコーティングと比較して、約15度までの高い表面接触角を持つ、請求項1記載のコーティング。
- 前記乾燥ゲルが付着している表面を有する基板を更に含み、かつ該乾燥ゲルが、約80nm〜約1μmなる範囲の厚みを持つ、請求項1記載のコーティング。
- 前記乾燥ゲルが付着している表面を有するソーラーパネルを更に含む、請求項1記載のコーティング。
- コーティングであって、
加水分解されたアルコキシシラン、加水分解されたオルガノシラン、および加水分解されたオルガノフルオロシランを含むゾルから形成された乾燥ゲルを含み、
該コーティングが、約90〜約178度なる範囲の接触角、約2H〜約9Hなる範囲の鉛筆硬度、および該コーティングを持たない基板と比較して、約1%〜約3.5%なる範囲で増大された高い透過率を持つことを特徴とする、前記コーティング。
