Abstract
【解決手段】本発明によれば、高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンに燃料を供給する燃料供給方法であって、前記貯蔵タンクで発生して排出されたボイルオフガスは、12乃至45bara(絶対圧)に圧縮された後、再液化され、前記再液化装置は、冷媒とボイルオフガスとの熱交換が行われるコールドボックス、前記コールドボックスで加熱された冷媒を圧縮するための圧縮手段、圧縮された冷媒を膨脹させて温度を下げるための膨脹手段、及び気体状態の冷媒と液体状態の冷媒とを分離するための複数の冷媒気液分離器を含み、複数の冷媒気液分離器の中で最下流側に配置される冷媒気液分離器には上流側に配置される冷媒気液分離器で分離された気体状態の冷媒と液体状態の冷媒とが再混合された後、供給されることを特徴とする高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンのための燃料供給方法が提供される。

Claims (17)
- 海上構造物に設置された高圧天然ガス噴射エンジン用燃料供給システムにおける燃料を供給する方法であって、
前記高圧天然ガス噴射エンジン用燃料供給システムは、
液化ガスを貯蔵する貯蔵タンクで発生したボイルオフガスを供給されて圧縮するボイルオフガス圧縮部;
前記ボイルオフガス圧縮部で圧縮されたボイルオフガスを供給されて液化させる再液化装置;
前記再液化装置で液化された液化ボイルオフガスを圧縮させる高圧ポンプ;及び
前記高圧ポンプで圧縮された液化ボイルオフガスを気化させて前記高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンに供給するための高圧気化器;
を含み、
前記貯蔵タンク内で発生したボイルオフガスを前記貯蔵タンクから排出させて中圧範囲に圧縮し、前記圧縮されたボイルオフガスを液化し、前記液化された液化ボイルオフガスを高圧に圧縮させた後、気化させて前記高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンに供給し、
前記中圧範囲は、12乃至45bara(絶対圧)にすることで、ボイルオフガスの液化エネルギーを減少させることを特徴とする、高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンのための燃料供給方法。 - 前記再液化装置から冷却及び液化された液化ボイルオフガスを供給されて気体成分を分離して液体成分を前記高圧ポンプに供給するためのバッファタンクをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンのための燃料供給方法。
- 前記ボイルオフガス圧縮部は、ボイルオフガスを圧縮する1つ以上のボイルオフガス圧縮機、及び前記ボイルオフガス圧縮機で圧縮されるとともに温度が上昇したボイルオフガスを冷却させるための1つ以上の中間冷却器を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンのための燃料供給方法。
- 前記再液化装置の冷媒は、窒素ガス又は混合冷媒であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンのための燃料供給方法。
- 前記再液化装置の冷媒は、非爆発性混合冷媒であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンのための燃料供給方法。
- 前記ボイルオフガス圧縮部で圧縮されたボイルオフガスと前記高圧ポンプで圧縮された液化ボイルオフガスとを熱交換することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンのための燃料供給方法。
- 前記再液化装置に使用される窒素冷凍サイクルで加温された窒素冷媒と前記高圧ポンプで圧縮された液化ボイルオフガスとを熱交換することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンのための燃料供給方法。
- 前記液化ガスを貯蔵する貯蔵タンクで発生したボイルオフガスは、前記ボイルオフガス圧縮部で圧縮される前に、前記ボイルオフガス圧縮部で圧縮されて排出される前記圧縮されたボイルオフガスと熱交換されるか、又は前記再液化装置に使用される窒素冷凍サイクルで加温された窒素冷媒と熱交換されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンのための燃料供給方法。
- 前記海上構造物は、液化ガス運搬船、LNG RV、LNG FSRU及びLNG FPSOのうちいずれか1つであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンのための燃料供給方法。
- 前記高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンの運転中に前記液化ボイルオフガスの全部又は相当部分を前記高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンに供給することを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項9のいずれか一項に記載の高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンのための燃料供給方法。
- 海上構造物に設置された高圧天然ガス噴射エンジン用燃料供給システムにおける燃料を供給する方法であって、
前記高圧天然ガス噴射エンジン用燃料供給システムは、
液化ガスを貯蔵する貯蔵タンクで発生したボイルオフガスを供給されて圧縮するボイルオフガス圧縮部;
前記ボイルオフガス圧縮部で圧縮されたボイルオフガスを供給されて液化させる再液化装置;
前記再液化装置で液化された液化ボイルオフガスを圧縮させる高圧ポンプ;及び
前記高圧ポンプで圧縮された液化ボイルオフガスを気化させて前記高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンに供給するための高圧気化器;
を含み、
前記貯蔵タンク内で発生したボイルオフガスを前記貯蔵タンクから排出させて中圧範囲に圧縮し、前記圧縮されたボイルオフガスを液化し、前記液化された液化ボイルオフガスを高圧に圧縮させた後、気化させて前記高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンに供給し、
前記中圧範囲は、12乃至45bara(絶対圧)で、
前記海上構造物の高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンが必要とする燃料の量が前記貯蔵タンクで発生するボイルオフガスの量以上の時は、前記液化ボイルオフガスを前記高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンにすべて供給することを特徴とする、高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンのための燃料供給方法。 - 前記再液化装置の冷媒は、窒素ガス又は混合冷媒であることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンのための燃料供給方法。
- 前記再液化装置の冷媒は、非爆発性混合冷媒であることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンのための燃料供給方法。

- 前記液化ガスを貯蔵する貯蔵タンクで発生したボイルオフガスは、前記ボイルオフガス圧縮部で圧縮される前に、前記ボイルオフガス圧縮部で圧縮されて排出される前記圧縮されたボイルオフガスと熱交換されるか、又は前記再液化装置に使用される窒素冷凍サイクルで加温された窒素冷媒と熱交換されることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンのための燃料供給方法。
- 前記海上構造物の高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンが必要とする燃料の量が前記貯蔵タンクで発生するボイルオフガスの量以上の時は、前記貯蔵タンクに貯蔵されたLNGを高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンに供給することを特徴とする請求項11乃至請求項16のいずれか1項に記載の高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンのための燃料供給方法。
