Abstract
Description
Claims (15)
- 液化ガスを輸送する船舶に備えられる蒸発ガスの再液化装置において、
液化ガス貯蔵タンクで発生した蒸発ガスを複数の圧縮部で圧縮する多段圧縮機;
前記液化ガス貯蔵タンクで発生した蒸発ガスと前記多段圧縮機によって圧縮された蒸発ガスとを熱交換させる熱交換器;
前記熱交換器で冷却された蒸発ガスと前記船舶の燃料需要先に供給される別の液化ガスとを熱交換させて前記蒸発ガスを冷却する気化器;
前記熱交換器で冷却された蒸発ガスを冷却する中間冷却器;及び
前記中間冷却器に供給される蒸発ガスの一部を分岐させて膨張させる膨張手段;を備え、
前記中間冷却器に供給される蒸発ガスの残りの一部は、前記中間冷却器で膨張手段によって膨張された蒸発ガスと熱交換されて冷却された後で前記液化ガス貯蔵タンクに戻されることを特徴とする蒸発ガスの再液化装置。 - 前記中間冷却器は、
前記気化器の上流に設けられ、前記熱交換器で冷却された蒸発ガスを前記気化器に供給する前に追加冷却する第1中間冷却器;及び
前記気化器の下流に設けられ、気化器で冷却された蒸発ガスを追加冷却する第2中間冷却器;のうち少なくとも1つ以上を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の蒸発ガスの再液化装置。 - 前記膨張手段は、
前記第1中間冷却器に供給される蒸発ガスの一部を分岐させて膨張させる第1膨張手段;及び
前記第2中間冷却器に供給される蒸発ガスの一部を分岐させて膨張させる第2膨張手段;のうち少なくとも1つ以上を備えることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の蒸発ガスの再液化装置。 - 前記気化器または前記第2中間冷却器の下流に設けられ、前記気化器または前記第2中間冷却器を通過した蒸発ガスを膨張させる第3膨張手段;及び
前記第3膨張手段の下流に設けられる気液分離器;をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の蒸発ガスの再液化装置。 - 前記多段圧縮機は複数の圧縮部が直列に設置され、
前記第1膨張手段によって膨張された蒸発ガスの流れ、及び前記第2膨張手段によって膨張された蒸発ガスの流れは、前記複数の圧縮部のうち異なる圧縮部の間に夫々供給され、
前記第1膨張手段によって膨張された蒸発ガスの流れは、前記第2膨張手段によって膨張された蒸発ガスの流れよりも下流の圧縮部の間に供給されることを特徴とする請求項3または4に記載の蒸発ガスの再液化装置。 - 前記多段圧縮機は4段圧縮機であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の蒸発ガスの再液化装置。
- 前記第2膨張手段及び前記第2中間冷却器を通過した流れは、前記4段圧縮機のうち第1圧縮部の下流に供給されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の蒸発ガスの再液化装置。
- 前記第1圧縮部の下流に供給される蒸発ガスの圧力は2〜5barであることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の蒸発ガスの再液化装置。
- 前記第1膨張手段及び前記第1中間冷却器を通過した流れは、前記4段圧縮機のうち第2圧縮部の下流に供給されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の蒸発ガスの再液化装置。
- 前記第2圧縮部の下流に供給される蒸発ガスの圧力は10〜15barであることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の蒸発ガスの再液化装置。
- 前記蒸発ガスは、エタン、エチレン、プロピレン及びLPGのいずれか1つであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の蒸発ガスの再液化装置。
- 前記燃料需要先に供給される液化ガスは、エタン、エチレン、プロピレン及びLPGのいずれか1つであることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の蒸発ガスの再液化装置。
- 液化ガスを輸送する船舶に適用される蒸発ガスの再液化方法において、
液化ガスを貯蔵する貯蔵タンクから排出される蒸発ガスを多段圧縮機に供給して圧縮し、
前記貯蔵タンクから排出される蒸発ガスによって圧縮蒸発ガスを冷却し、
冷却された圧縮蒸発ガスと前記船舶の燃料需要先に供給される液化ガスとを熱交換させて前記貯蔵タンクに戻し、
前記圧縮蒸発ガスと前記燃料需要先に供給される液化ガスとを熱交換させる前または熱交換させた後、前記圧縮蒸発ガスの一部を分岐させて膨張させた蒸発ガスによって分岐させなかった残りの圧縮蒸発ガスを少なくとも1回以上追加冷却した後で前記貯蔵タンクに戻すことを特徴とする蒸発ガスの再液化方法。 - 前記分岐させなかった残りの圧縮蒸発ガスを冷却した膨張蒸発ガスを、前記多段圧縮機が備える複数の圧縮部のうち少なくとも1つの圧縮部によって圧縮されるように供給することを特徴とする請求項13に記載の蒸発ガスの再液化方法。
- 前記燃料需要先に供給される液化ガスを気化させる前に前記圧縮蒸発ガスを膨張させた後で熱交換された蒸発ガスを、液化ガスを気化させた後に蒸発ガスを膨張させた後で熱交換された蒸発ガスよりも下流の圧縮部に供給することを特徴とする請求項14に記載の蒸発ガスの再液化方法。
