Claims (9)
- 貯蔵タンク内で発生したボイルオフガスを前記貯蔵タンクから供給されて圧縮するボイルオフガス圧縮部、前記ボイルオフガス圧縮部で圧縮されたボイルオフガスを供給されて液化させる再液化装置、前記再液化装置で液化された液化ボイルオフガスを圧縮させる高圧ポンプ、及び前記高圧ポンプで圧縮された液化ボイルオフガスを気化させるための高圧気化器を含み、高圧天然ガス噴射エンジンに燃料を供給する燃料供給システムの運転方法であって、
前記燃料供給システムは、前記高圧ポンプの上流側に設置され、前記貯蔵タンクから供給された液化ガスを用いて、発生したボイルオフガスのうち一部又は全部を再凝縮する再凝縮機を含み、
貯蔵タンクをほぼ空にして運航するバラスト運航を行っている間は、前記ボイルオフガスを前記再凝縮機にすべて供給して再凝縮させ、前記再液化装置を稼働させない期間を含むことを特徴とする高圧天然ガス噴射エンジン用燃料供給システムの運転方法。 - 前記貯蔵タンクに貯蔵されたLNGは、LNG供給ラインを介して前記再凝縮機に供給されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高圧天然ガス噴射エンジン用燃料供給システムの運転方法。
- 前記貯蔵タンクから排出されたボイルオフガスは、前記ボイルオフガス圧縮部で12乃至45baraに圧縮された後、前記再凝縮機に供給されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高圧天然ガス噴射エンジン用燃料供給システムの運転方法。
- 前記貯蔵タンクが液化ガス貨物で満量になった積載状態(laden)の時、前記貯蔵タンクから自然に発生するボイルオフガスを前記再液化装置に供給して再液化することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高圧天然ガス噴射エンジン用燃料供給システムの運転方法。
- 前記貯蔵タンクで発生したボイルオフガスのうち一部はボイルオフガス迂回ラインを介して前記再凝縮機に迂回されることによって前記再液化装置での再液化負荷を減少させることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の高圧天然ガス噴射エンジン用燃料供給システムの運転方法。
- 前記再凝縮機と前記高圧ポンプとの間にブースターポンプを設置することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高圧天然ガス噴射エンジン用燃料供給システムの運転方法。
- 前記貯蔵タンクの内部に位置する潜水式ポンプによって前記貯蔵タンクに収容されたLNGを前記再凝縮機に供給することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高圧天然ガス噴射エンジン用燃料供給システムの運転方法。
- 前記貯蔵タンクの外部に排出されたLNGをブースターポンプによって前記再凝縮機の内部圧力と同じ圧力まで圧縮させた後、前記再凝縮機に供給することを特徴とする請求項1又は7に記載の高圧天然ガス噴射エンジン用燃料供給システムの運転方法。
- 前記ボイルオフガス圧縮部で圧縮されたボイルオフガスと前記高圧ポンプで圧縮された液化ボイルオフガスとを熱交換器で熱交換することによってボイルオフガスを冷却し、前記再液化装置及び前記再凝縮機のうち少なくとも一方に供給するとともに、液化ボイルオフガスを加熱して前記高圧気化器に供給することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の高圧天然ガス噴射エンジン用燃料供給システムの運転方法。
