Abstract
Description
実施1〜7のラビング処理後の透明フィルムの輝点欠陥数を、CCDカメラを用いた面状検査装置の輝点発生頻度により評価を行った。評価結果を図4の表に示す。なお、表中の記号は、オンライン、オフライン共に除塵を実施しないときの輝点発生頻度を150%とし、以下のように評価した。
6・・・非常に品質良い(発生頻度30%未満)
5・・・品質良い(発生頻度30%以上50%未満)
4・・・品質許容内(発生頻度50%以上80%未満)
3・・・品質許容限度(発生頻度80%以上100%未満)
2・・・品質悪い(発生頻度100%以上120%未満)
1・・・品質許容外(発生頻度120%以上150%以下)
なお、3以上が合格レベルであり、2以下が不合格レベルである。
Claims (4)
- オフラインで、ブラシローラを、外周にラビング布を装着したラビングローラに左右に振動させながら回転接触させて、前記ラビング布に付着した塵埃を除去するオフライン除塵工程と、
配向膜形成材料層を備えた基材を連続走行させながら、前記オフライン除塵工程で塵埃を除去したラビングローラを用いて配向膜を形成する配向膜形成工程と、を有するラビング処理方法。 - 前記基材が帯状可撓性支持体である請求項1に記載のラビング処理方法。
- 前記ブラシローラの前記ラビングローラに対する回転方向は、前記ラビングローラを用いて配向膜を形成する回転方向と同じ方向である請求項1又は2に記載のラビング処理方法。
- 前記配向膜形成材料層が変性ポリビニルアルコールを主成分とする請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載のラビング処理方法。
