Description
本実施形態においては、液体原料として、ガラス原料化合物を溶媒に溶解または分散させた溶液が使用される。
液体原料の熱処理は、火炎または熱風とともに、上記液体原料を反応空間に噴出させることによって行われる。火炎または熱風とともに噴出された液体原料は、噴出と同時に多数の微細な液滴が形成され、これらの液滴はすべて、火炎または熱風の熱で瞬時に、かつ均一に加熱される。このため、液滴は凝集することなく微細な液滴のまま、溶媒が揮発し、この液滴に溶解または分散していたガラス原料化合物が均一に熱分解してガラス化し、微細で均質なガラス粒子が形成される。そして、これらの微細なガラス粒子は、その後の急冷によって、微細で均質な粒子のまま固化する。したがって、微細で真球度(球形度)が高いガラス粉末を安定して得ることができる。
液体原料の熱処理工程によって生成されたガラス粒子は、バグフィルタなどの捕集装置を用いて捕集し、回収する。
酸化物基準の質量%表記で、B2O322.0%、ZnO60.8%、SiO211.8%、Al2O30.5%、MgO4.9%、およびCeO20.1%のガラス組成となるように、ホウ素化トリブチル、2−エチルヘキサン酸亜鉛 ミネラルスピリッツ溶液(亜鉛含量:15.0質量%)、オクタメチルシクロテトラシロキサン、トリス(エチルアセトアセタト)アルミニウム、2−エチルヘキサン酸マグネシウム トルエン溶液(マグネシウム含量:2.3質量%)、2−エチルヘキサン酸セリウム(III) 2−エチルヘキサン酸溶液(セリウム含量:12.0%)を秤量分取した後、溶媒としてミネラルスピリッツ162mlを加え、15時間攪拌して完全に溶解させ、酸化物濃度で4質量%の透明で淡黄色の液体原料を調製した。
酸化物基準の質量%表記で、B2O323.0%、ZnO57.0%、SnO21.0%、SiO28.0%、Al2O34.0%、Li2O1.0%、CaO1.0%、およびBaO5.0%のガラス組成となるように、ホウ素化トリブチル、2−エチルヘキサン酸亜鉛 ミネラルスピリッツ溶液(亜鉛含量:15.0質量%)、オクチル酸錫(II)、オクタメチルシクロテトラシロキサン、トリス(エチルアセトアセタト)アルミニウム、ナフテン酸リチウム ミネラルスピリッツ溶液(リチウム含量:1.16質量%)、2−エチルヘキサン酸カルシウム 2−エチルヘキサン酸溶液(カルシウム含量:4.9質量%)、および2−エチルヘキサン酸バリウム トルエン溶液(バリウム含量:8.0質量%)を秤量分取した後、溶媒としてミネラルスピリッツ144mlを加え、15時間攪拌して完全に溶解させ、酸化物濃度で4質量%の透明で淡黄色の液体原料を調製した。
酸化物基準の質量%表記で、B2O323.0%、ZnO49.0%、SnO21.0%、SiO210.0%、Al2O32.0%、Na2O3.0%、K2O4.0%、CaO3.%、およびBaO5.0%のガラス組成となるように、ホウ素化トリブチル、2−エチルヘキサン酸亜鉛 ミネラルスピリッツ溶液(亜鉛含量:15.0質量%)、オクチル酸錫(II)、オクタメチルシクロテトラシロキサン、トリス(エチルアセトアセタト)アルミニウム、2−エチルヘキサン酸ナトリウム、2−エチルヘキサン酸カリウム、2−エチルヘキサン酸カルシウム 2−エチルヘキサン酸溶液(カルシウム含量:4.9質量%)、および2−エチルヘキサン酸バリウム トルエン溶液(バリウム含量:8.0質量%)を秤量分取した後、溶媒としてミネラルスピリッツ149mlを加え、15時間攪拌して完全に溶解させ、酸化物濃度で5質量%の透明で淡黄色の液体原料を調製した。
酸化物基準の質量%表記で、B2O34.7%、ZnO9.6%、P2O518.4%、Bi2O339.5%、Li2O0.8%、ZrO23.3%、およびNb2O523.7%のガラス組成となるように、ホウ素化トリブチル、2−エチルヘキサン酸亜鉛 ミネラルスピリッツ溶液(亜鉛含量:15.0質量%)、トリフェニルホスフィン、2−エチルヘキサン酸ビスマス 2−エチルヘキサン酸溶液(ビスマス含量:25.1質量%)、ナフテン酸リチウム ミネラルスピリッツ溶液(リチウム含量:1.16質量%)、2−エチルヘキサン酸ジルコニア ミネラルスピリッツ溶液(ジルコニア含量:6.00質量%)およびニオブブトキシド n−ブタノール溶液(ニオブ含量:5.01質量%)を秤量分取した後、溶媒としてミネラルスピリッツ107mlを加え、15時間攪拌して完全に溶解させ、酸化物濃度で4質量%の透明で淡黄色の液体原料を調製した。
酸化物基準の質量%表記で、B2O35.9%、ZnO10.6%、Al2O30.5%、Bi2O382.5%、CeO20.2%、Fe2O30.2%、およびCuO0.1%のガラス組成となるように、ホウ素化トリブチル、2−エチルヘキサン酸亜鉛 ミネラルスピリッツ溶液(亜鉛含量:15.0質量%)、エチルアセトアセテートアルミニウム ジノルマルブチレートとアルミニウム モノ−n−ブトキシジエチルアセト酢酸エステルのミネラルスピリッツ溶液(アルミニウム含量:5.9質量%;ホープ製薬(株)製 商品名 ケロープ(S)−30MT)、2−エチルヘキサン酸ビスマス 2−エチルヘキサン酸溶液(ビスマス含量:25.1質量%)、2−エチルヘキサン酸セリウム 2−エチルヘキサン酸溶液(セリウム含量:12質量%)、2−エチルヘキサン酸鉄 ミネラルスピリッツ溶液(鉄含量:8.0質量%)、2−エチルヘキサン酸銅 ミネラルスピリッツ溶液(銅含量:8.0質量%)を秤量分取した後、溶媒としてミネラルスピリッツ349mlを加え、15時間攪拌させ完全に溶解させ、酸化物濃度で4質量%の透明で黒紫色の液体原料を調製した。
酸化物基準の質量%表記で、B2O323.1%、ZnO49.2%、CoO0.5%、SiO210.1%、Al2O32.0%、Na2O3.0%、K2O4.1%、CaO3.0%、およびBaO5.0%のガラス組成となるように、ほう酸、酢酸亜鉛二水和物、硝酸アルムニウム九水和物、酢酸ナトリウム、酢酸カリウム、硝酸カルシウム四水和物、硝酸バリウム、酢酸コバルト(II)を秤量分取した後、溶媒として精製水113mlを加え、1時間攪拌させ完全に溶解させた。その後メチルトリエトキシシランを秤量採取した後、前記水溶液に加え均一になるまで1時間攪拌した。さらにエタノール56mlを加えて30分間攪拌し、酸化物濃度で4質量%の透明で淡桃色の液体原料を調製した。
酸化物基準の質量%表記で、P2O546.4%、Al2O35.3%、BaO47.5%、およびCoO0.8%のガラス組成となるように、トリフェニルホスフィン、ケロープ(S)−30MT、2−エチルヘキサン酸バリウム トルエン溶液(バリウム含量:8.0質量%)、2−エチルヘキサン酸コバルト(コバルト含量:12.0質量%)を秤量分取した後、溶媒としてミネラルスピリッツ146mlとトルエン36mLを加え、15時間攪拌させ完全に溶解させ、酸化物濃度で5質量%の透明で黒紫色の液体原料を調製した。
酸化物基準の質量%表記で、B2O320.1%、ZnO42.7%、SnO20.9%、SiO28.7%、Al2O31.8%、Na2O2.6%、K2O3.5%、CaO2.6%、BaO4.4%、およびFe2O312.7%のガラス組成となるように、ホウ素化トリブチル、2−エチルヘキサン酸亜鉛 ミネラルスピリッツ溶液(亜鉛含量:15.0質量%)、オクチル酸錫(II)、オクタメチルシクロテトラシロキサン、ケロープ(S)−30MT、2−エチルヘキサン酸ナトリウム、2−エチルヘキサン酸カリウム、2−エチルヘキサン酸カルシウム ミネラルスピリッツ溶液(カルシウム含量:4.1質量%)、および2−エチルヘキサン酸バリウム ミネラルスピリッツ溶液(バリウム含量:15.0質量%)、2−エチルヘキサン酸鉄 ミネラルスピリッツ溶液(鉄含量:8.0質量%)を秤量分取した後、溶媒としてミネラルスピリッツ437mlを加え、15時間攪拌させ完全に溶解させ、酸化物濃度で5質量%の黒紫色の液体原料を調製した。
酸化物基準の質量%表記で、SiO229.2%、K2O11.5%、CaO20.5%、およびFe2O338.8%のガラス組成となるように、オクタメチルシクロテトラシロキサン、2−エチルヘキサン酸カリウム、2−エチルヘキサン酸カルシウム ミネラルスピリッツ溶液(カルシウム含量:4.1質量%)、2−エチルヘキサン酸鉄 ミネラルスピリッツ溶液(鉄含量:8.0質量%)を秤量分取した後、溶媒としてミネラルスピリッツ105mLを加え、15時間攪拌させ完全に溶解させ、酸化物濃度で5質量%の黒紫色の液体原料を調製した。
示差熱分析装置((株)リガク製 TG8110)を用いて、約20mgのガラス粒子を5℃/minの昇温速度で、室温から800℃まで昇温して測定した。
[ガラス軟化点Ts]
ガラス粒子約20mgを白金パンに入れ、熱重量測定・示唆熱分析装置((株)リガク製 TG8110)によって昇温速度を10℃/minとして測定し、ガラス転移点Tgよりも高温側に現れる軟化流動に伴うDTA曲線の屈曲点における温度をガラス軟化点Tsとした。
[結晶化ピーク温度Tc]
ガラス粒子約20mgを白金パンに入れ、熱重量測定・示唆熱分析装置((株)リガク製 TG8110)によって昇温速度10℃/minとして測定し、結晶化に伴うDTA曲線の発熱ピークの温度を結晶化ピーク温度Tcとした。結晶化ピークがないか、またはピークが小さく検知できないときは「−」と表記した。
[平均線膨張係数α]
焼結したガラスを切削加工して約5mmφ×20mmの試料ガラスを得、この試料ガラスについて、熱膨張計((株)リガク製 TMA8310)を用いて、昇温速度5℃/minで測定した。50℃における試料の長さL50と300℃における試料の長さL300を測定し、次式より50℃〜300℃における平均線膨張係数αを求めた。

[結晶ピークの有無]
X線回折装置(リガク(株)製 TTR−III)を用いてX線回折分析(XRD)を行い、結晶に起因するピークの有無を調べた。
画像解析ソフトウエア(三谷商事(株)製 WinRoof)を用いて、TEMで撮像した写真の任意の50個の粒子について、2値化処理した後、2値化面積と同じ面積の等価円の直径を粒子径(Li)として求め、下記の式より平均粒子径(L)を算出した。
画像解析ソフトウエア(三谷商事(株)製 WinRoof)を用いて、TEMで撮像した写真の任意の50個の粒子について、各粒子を明度で2値化処理した後、2値化図形の重心を通る最大直径(Dmaxi)と最小直径(Dmini)を求め、下記の式より真球度(Di)および平均真球度(D)を算出した。
Claims (9)
- ガラス原料化合物および溶媒を含む液体原料を、火炎または熱風とともに、反応空間に噴出させ、熱分解した後、急冷することを特徴とするガラス粉末の製造方法。
- 前記火炎または熱風の温度が1500℃以上である請求項1に記載のガラス粉末の製造方法。
- 前記液体原料と前記火炎または熱風は、共通のバーナから前記反応空間に噴出される請求項1または2に記載のガラス粉末の製造方法。
- 前記液体原料は、さらに、酸化性ガスとともに前記反応空間に噴出される請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のガラス粉末の製造方法。
- 前記液体原料、前記火炎または熱風、および前記酸化性ガスは、共通のバーナから前記反応空間に噴出される請求項4に記載のガラス粉末の製造方法。
- 前記反応空間の周囲に冷却手段が設けられている請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のガラス粉末の製造方法。
- 前記溶媒は、水、アルコール、カルボン酸および炭化水素からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種を含む請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のガラス粉末の製造方法。
- 前記ガラス粉末の平均粒径が、500nm以下である請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のガラス粉末の製造方法。
- 前記ガラス粉末の平均真球度が0.7以上である請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載のガラス粉末の製造方法。
