Abstract
【解決手段】排気ガス還流通路(EGR通路)の排気ガスクーラ(EGRクーラ)より下流側の温度Tを検出又は推定する温度検出手段を備えた制御装置(ECU)により、前記温度検出手段が検出した排気ガスの温度Tが所定値Tthを下回る場合には、そうでない場合と比較して前記排気ガス還流制御弁(EGR弁)23の開度を減少させ、バルブオーバラップ量を増加させる制御を行う。

Claims (1)
- 少なくとも吸気弁又は排気弁の開閉タイミングを変更可能にするための可変バルブタイミング機構と、排気通路と吸気通路とを連通する排気ガス還流通路、前記排気ガス還流通路を開閉し当該排気ガス還流通路を流れる排気ガスの流量を制御する排気ガス還流制御弁、及び前記排気ガス還流通路中に設けられ排気ガスを冷却するための排気ガスクーラを備えた排気ガス還流装置とを備えた内燃機関を制御するものであって、
前記排気ガス還流通路の前記排気ガスクーラより下流側の温度を検出又は推定する温度検出手段を備え、この温度検出手段が検出した排気ガスの温度が所定値を下回る場合には、そうでない場合と比較して前記排気ガス還流制御弁の開度を減少させ、バルブオーバラップ量を増加させる制御を行うことを特徴とする内燃機関の制御装置。
