Abstract
【解決手段】動き補償回路51は、予測モード決定回路41より供給される動きベクトルを用いて、カレントフレーム以外の参照フレームにおいて予測画像に対応するマクロブロックを特定する。動き補償回路51は、特定したマクロブロックの画像をフレームメモリ19より読み出し、動き補償画像として抽出する。イントラ予測回路52は、カレントフレームにおいて、任意の方法でイントラ予測を行い、イントラ予測画像IPを生成する。本発明は、例えば、符号化装置および復号装置に適用することができる。

[予測の概要]
図4は、本発明を適用した予測画像生成方法の概要を説明する図である。本発明においては、復号器において、動き補償画像を得るために、最低1本の動きベクトルが、ビットストリームで伝送される。
図5は、本発明の一実施形態に係る復号装置1の構成例を示すブロック図である。
ここで、以上の構成を有する復号装置1の処理について説明する。

Claims (9)
- 局所的に復号された互いに異なる画像から生成された複数の画像に対して、予測画像の高周波成分を増幅させるようにフィルタリングと加算とを行うことにより、前記予測画像を生成する予測画像生成部と、
前記予測画像生成部により生成された予測画像を用いて、画像を符号化する符号化部と
を備える符号化装置。 - 前記予測画像生成部は、前記複数の画像に対して前記フィルタリングを施し、前記フィルタリング結果を加算する
請求項1に記載の符号化装置。 - 前記フィルタリングは、高周波成分を抽出する処理である
請求項1に記載の符号化装置。 - 前記予測画像生成部は、前記高周波成分を増幅して加算する
請求項3に記載の符号化装置。 - 前記予測画像生成部は、前記複数の画像の差分画像に対して前記フィルタリングを施し、前記フィルタリング結果を加算する
請求項1に記載の符号化装置。 - 前記予測画像生成部は、前記フィルタリング結果を前記複数の画像の一方と加算する

請求項1に記載の符号化装置。 - 前記複数の画像は、カレントフレーム以外のフレームの局所的に復号された画像から生成された動き補償画像と、カレントフレームの局所的に復号された画像から生成されたイントラ予測画像である
