【解決手段】マフラボックス22を,互いに開放面を突き合わせて結合される第1及び第2ボックス半体23,24と,これら第1及び第2ボックス半体23,24間に重ねて介装されてマフラボックス22内を第1及び第2消音室28,29に仕切ると共に,相互間に第3消音室30を画成する第1及び第2隔壁板25,26とより構成し,触媒コンバータ35を収容して保持する円筒状の保持筒36の一端開口部を排気入口管33に接続し,一対の隔壁板25,26により保持筒36を,その外周面を包むようにして支持し,保持筒36の他端開口部を,第1,第2及び第3消音室28〜30を順次介して排気出口管34に連通した。

Claims (2)
- マフラボックス(22)と,このマフラボックス(22)に設けられてエンジン(E)に接続される排気入口管(33)と,同マフラボックス(22)に設けられて大気に開口する排気出口管(34)と,前記マフラボックス(22)内で前記排気入口管(33)及び排気出口管(34)間を連通する排気経路に介装される触媒コンバータ(35)とを備える,触媒コンバータ付きマフラにおいて,
前記マフラボックス(22)を,互いに開放面を突き合わせて結合される第1及び第2ボックス半体(23,24)と,これら第1及び第2ボックス半体(23,24)間に重ねて介装されてマフラボックス(22)内を第1及び第2消音室(28,29)に仕切ると共に,相互間に第3消音室(30)を画成する第1及び第2隔壁板(25,26)とより構成し,前記触媒コンバータ(35)を収容して保持する円筒状の保持筒(36)の一端開口部を前記排気入口管(33)に接続し,前記一対の隔壁板(25,26)により前記保持筒(36)を,その外周面を包むようにして支持し,前記保持筒(36)の他端開口部を,前記第1,第2及び第3消音室(28〜30)を順次介して前記排気出口管(34)に連通したことを特徴とする,触媒コンバータ付きマフラ。 - 請求項1に記載の触媒コンバータ付きマフラにおいて,
前記第1隔壁板(25)に,前記保持筒(36)の他端開口部を第1消音室(28)に開放する開口部(37)を設け,前記第1及び第2隔壁板(25,26)の少なくとも一方に,前記第1及び第2消音室(28,29)間を連通する第1消音孔(39)を設け,また前記第2隔壁板(26)に,前記第2及び第3消音室(29,30)間を連通する第2消音孔(40)を設けると共に,前記第3消音室(30)に前記排気出口管(34)を接続したことを特徴とする,触媒コンバータ付きマフラ。
