Abstract
【解決手段】光ファイバ9を保持するフェルール11を、フェルール11が挿入される保持穴320が形成された保持部材3に固定するフェルール固定部材5であって、保持部材3に形成された係止部に係止され、保持部材3に対するフェルール11の挿入方向、及び挿入方向に直交する方向への移動が規制される被係止部51と、弾性変形によりフェルール11を保持穴320の奥側に弾性的に押し付ける本体部5aとを一体に有する。

Description
図1は、本発明の実施の形態に係るフェルール固定部材5、及びフェルール固定部材5によって固定されるフェルール11と光サブアセンブリ12とを示す全体構成図である。図2は、フェルール11の構成例を示す斜視図である。
図3は、光サブアセンブリ12の構成例を示し、(a)は斜視図、(b)は(a)のA−A線断面図である。
図4は、本発明の実施の形態に係るフェルール固定部材5の構成例を示し、(a)は斜視図、(b)は展開図である。
次に、フェルール固定部材5により、光サブアセンブリ12にフェルール11を固定する工程について、図5及び図6を参照して説明する。

Claims (5)
- 光ファイバを保持するフェルールを、前記フェルールが挿入される保持穴が形成された保持部材に固定するフェルール固定部材であって、
前記保持部材に形成された係止部に係止され、前記保持部材に対する前記フェルールの挿入方向、及び該挿入方向に直交する方向への移動が規制される被係止部と、
弾性変形により前記フェルールを前記保持穴の奥側に弾性的に押し付ける本体部とを一体に有する
フェルール固定部材。 - 前記被係止部は、前記保持穴が形成された前記保持部材の筒部を挟んで前記フェルールの挿入方向に交差する方向に延出された一対のアームからなる、
請求項1に記載のフェルール固定部材。 - 前記被係止部及び前記本体部は、所定の形状に打ち抜かれた単板の板状素材を屈曲して成形された、
請求項2に記載のフェルール固定部材。 - 前記被係止部は、その厚さ方向が前記フェルールの挿入方向に対して交差する、
請求項3に記載のフェルール固定部材。 - 前記一対のアームは、前記本体部とは反対側の先端部に、前記筒部を抱え込むように形成された括れ部を有する、
