Abstract

Claims (15)
- 燃焼エンジンのシリンダーヘッドに搭載するための雄ネジ(102A)を有するプラグボディ(102)と、
外側の部分(104A)と内側のコア(104B)とを含むリング形状の感知構造(104)であって、前記プラグボディ(102)の近接する端部が前記外側の部分に取り付けられ、前記内側のコア(104B)がロッド形状の素子(106)を受け取るための貫通孔(104C)を有し、前記リング形状の感知構造は、内側のコア(104B)をリング形状の感知構造(104)のシリンダー軸(105)に沿って外側の部分(104A)に相対的に移動させる、前記感知構造(100)とを有する燃焼エンジンのための圧力測定プラグ(100)であって、
前記内側のコア(104B)は、雄ネジを有するロッド形状の素子(106)を貫通孔(104C)内に搭載するための雌ネジ(104B1)を含むことを特徴とする、圧力測定プラグ。 - 圧力測定プラグは、当該プラグがシリンダーヘッドに搭載されるときに、ロッド形状の素子を受け取るよう構成される、請求項1に記載の圧力測定プラグ。
- 前記ロッド形状の素子はスパークプラグである、請求項1または2に記載の圧力測定プラグ。
- 前記雄ネジ(102A)が第1のシリンダー軸を有し、前記雌ネジ(104B1)が前記第1のシリンダー軸と整合される第2のシリンダー軸を有する、請求項1ないし3いずれか1つに記載の圧力測定プラグ。
- 軸方向において、前記雄ネジ(102A)と前記雌ネジ(104B1)とが重複しない、請求項1ないし4いずれか1つに記載の圧力測定プラグ。
- 前記プラグボディ(102C)は、ベース部分(102B)とネジ付き部分(102C)とを含み、前記リング形状の感知構造(104)は、前記ベース部分(102B)の一方の端部に取り付けられ、前記ベース部分の反対側の端部は前記ネジ付き部分(102C)に位置決めされる、請求項1ないし5いずれか1つに記載の圧力測定プラグ。
- 前記プラグはさらに、前記内側のコア(104B)の一端に取り付けられた円筒状のボディ部(140)を含み、当該円筒状のボディ部は、前記プラグボディ(102)内に少なくとも部分的に延在し、前記円筒状のボディ部の内面(140A)は、前記圧力測定プラグと前記ロッド形状の素子との間に封止を提供するための封止形状(140B)を含む、請求項1ないし6いずれか1つに記載の圧力測定プラグ。
- 前記封止形状は円錐である、請求項7に記載の圧力測定プラグ。
- 前記圧力測定プラグはさらに環状のメンブレン(150)を含み、当該環状のメンブレンの第1のリムは前記プラグボディ(102)に溶接され、当該環状のメンブレンの第2のリムは、前記ボディ部(140)に溶接され、前記円筒状のボディ部と前記プラグボディ(102)との間に封止を提供する、請求項7または8に記載の圧力測定プラグ。
- 前記環状のメンブレン(150)は前記プラグボディ(102)内に配置される、請求項9に記載の圧力測定プラグ。
- 前記ロッド形状の素子は、温度に依存する動作特性を有し、前記環状のメンブレンは、前記プラグボディの遠位端から予め定められた距離を有し、使用中のロッド形状の素子に最適な動作温度を提供する、請求項10に記載の圧力測定プラグ。
- 圧力測定プラグのプラグ軸に沿って、封止形状(140B)が前記リング形状の感知構造と前記環状のメンブレンとの間に配置される、請求項9ないし11いずれか1つに記載の圧力測定プラグ。
- 前記圧力測定プラグはさらに、前記ロッドのような素子と前記円筒状のボディ部との間に封止を提供するOリング(155)を含む、請求項7ないし12いずれか1つに記載の圧力測定プラグ。
- 前記円筒状のボディ部(140)は前記内側のコア(104B)の一部である、請求項7ないし13いずれか1つに記載の圧力測定プラグ。
- 燃焼エンジンのシリンダーヘッドに搭載されており、請求項1ないし14のいずれかに記載の圧力測定プラグからスパークプラグをネジにより取り外すことと、
新しいスパークプラグを前記圧力測定プラグにネジ込むこととを含む、燃焼エンジンのスパークプラグを交換する方法。
