Claims (6)
- 膣腔、子宮頸部または子宮の内層のウイルス感染の治療のための動物に対する光線力学的療法(PDT)に用いる組成物の製造における、5−アミノレブリン酸(5−ALA)ヘキシルエステルまたはその薬剤として使用し得る塩の使用であって、該PDTは(a)、(b)を含み:(a)該組成物を該動物に投与すること;および
(b)該5−ALAヘキシルエステルを光活性化すること、
(i)と(iii)とを組み合わせて用いることによって、該PDTによる副作用を抑えるかあるいは少なくする:
(i)該組成物が、0.5〜6重量%の濃度で該5−ALAヘキシルエステルを含むこと、
(iii)該光活性化が、発光ダイオード(LED)からなり、フルエンス率が5〜40mW/cm2の光源を用いて行われることを特徴とする使用。 - 上記PDTによる副作用が、痛みおよび/または紅斑である請求項1に記載の使用。
- 上記組成物が5−ALAヘキシルエステルの塩酸塩を含む、請求項1または2に記載の使用。
- 上記光活性化が400〜700nmの波長範囲の光で行われる請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の使用。
- 上記PDTが40〜200J/cm2の光線量で行われる請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の使用。
- 上記PDTが100J/cm2の光線量で行われる請求項5に記載の使用。
