Abstract
【解決手段】正極と負極と電解質とを内部に密封するケース本体12よりも薄肉でドーム形状を呈する薄肉部28を備えた安全弁14を、ケース本体12に対して、その内部に膨出するように設けると共に、安全弁14の厚さ方向両方の面の互いに対応する部位に、ケース本体12の内圧が予め設定された規定圧力となったときに開裂する開裂溝32,33をそれぞれ形成して、構成した。

Claims (4)
- 正極と負極と電解質とを内部に密封するケース本体を有すると共に、該ケース本体の内圧が予め設定された規定圧力となったときに開裂して、該ケース本体の内圧を外部に放出する安全弁が、該ケース本体に設けられてなる二次電池用ケースであって、
前記安全弁が、前記ケース本体の内側に膨出したドーム形状を呈する、該ケース本体よりも薄肉の薄肉部を有して構成されていると共に、該ケース本体の内圧が前記規定圧力となったときに開裂する開裂溝が、該薄肉部の両面の厚さ方向に対応する部位に、それぞれ設けられていることを特徴とする二次電池用ケース。 - 前記開裂溝の内面が、湾曲面にて構成されている請求項1に記載の二次電池用ケース。
- 前記開裂溝の内面が、互いに異なる曲率半径を有する複数の湾曲面部分を、該開裂溝の幅方向に相互に連接してなる段付湾曲面にて構成されると共に、該複数の湾曲面部分の曲率半径が、該開裂溝の幅方向の中央部から該開裂溝の開口側に向かうに従って次第に大きくされている請求項2に記載の二次電池用ケース。
- 請求項1乃至請求項3のうちの何れか1項に記載の二次電池用ケース内に、正極と負極と電解質とを密封して、構成したことを特徴とする二次電池。
