40%のパラ−アラミドフィブリド、及び60%のパラ−アラミド繊維(6mm、2dTex)を含む支持体を、傾斜ワイヤーパイロットマシンで作製した。次いで、支持体の一部を、異なる硫酸濃度でパーチメント化たた。
−酸の濃度=85%
・標準(非パーチメント化):強度=5.18N.m/g
・試料(20秒間パーチメント化):強度=6.38N.m/g
−酸の濃度=90%
・標準(非パーチメント化):強度=5.18N.m/g
・試料(20秒間パーチメント化):強さ=16.1N.m/g
40%のメタ−アラミドフィブリド、及び60%のメタ−アラミド繊維(6mm、2dTex)を含む支持体を、傾斜ワイヤーパイロットマシンで作製した。支持体を、従来の技術(280℃で加熱、又は高温でカレンダー処理:圧力=280N/mmで、温度=300℃)に従って一体化した。一体化処理をしなかった支持体の一部を、パイロットパーチメント化装置でパーチメント化し(硫酸濃度=85%、時間=20秒)、このプロセスで得られた支持体の特性を、従来の技術で得られたものと比較した(表1参照)。
40%のパラ−アラミドフィブリド、及び60%のパラ−アラミド繊維(6mm、2dTex)を含む支持体を、傾斜ワイヤーパイロットマシンで作製した。次いで、支持体を、従来の技術(高温でのカレンダー加工:圧力=280N/mm、温度=300℃)に従って一体化した。この一体化処理をしなかった支持体の一部を、パイロットパーチメント化装置でパーチメント化し(硫酸濃度=90%、時間=10秒)、このプロセスの後に得られた支持体の特性を、従来の技術で得られた物と比較した(表2を参照)。表2に示すように、パーチメント化プロセスは、従来の技術(ホットカレンダー)を使用することによっては達成可能ではなかった高い気孔率を維持しながら、パラ−アラミド支持体の強度を増加させる。
25%のパラ−アラミドフィブリド、25%のパラ−アラミド繊維(6mm、2dTex)、及び50%のガラス繊維(6mm、2.2dTex)を含む支持体を、傾斜ワイヤーパイロットマシンで作製した。支持体の一部をパーチメント化し(硫酸濃度=90%、時間=10秒)、このプロセスの後に得られた支持体の特性を、比処理の支持体と比較した(表3参照)。
2つのタイプのアラミド支持体を、傾斜ワイヤーマシンで作製した。
−支持体1は40%のパラ−アラミドフィブリドと60%のパラ−アラミド繊維(6mm、2dTex)から成る。
−支持体2は90%のパラ−アラミドフィブリド/10%のパラ−アラミド繊維(6mm、2dTex)の支持体である。
既に説明したようにして(例4を参照)、パラアラミド支持体を傾斜ワイヤーマシンで作製した。乾燥させる前に、この支持体を、高圧の水流を用いて、水流交絡処理した(hydroentangled)。次いで、支持体の一部を、パーチメント化した(硫酸濃度=90%、時間=10秒)。水流交絡し、パーチメント化した支持体は、水流交絡処理のみ行ったアラミド支持体の測定値に対して2倍の剛性を提示する。
Claims (17)
- 硫酸でパーチメント化した、パーチメント化可能な合成繊維及びフィブリドを含むパーチメント化した繊維質の支持体。
- 前記パーチメント化可能な合成繊維は、アラミド繊維及びアラミドフィブなどのアラミド系繊維材料である、請求項1に記載のパーチメント化した繊維質の支持体。
- 前記パーチメント化した繊維質の支持体が、
−アラミド繊維及びアラミドフィブリドなどのアラミド系繊維材料、
−ポリアミド系繊維材料、
−ポリエステル系繊維材料、
−炭素繊維などの有機系繊維、
−ガラス繊維などの無機系繊維、
−又はそれらの混合物
含む群から選択される合成繊維を含む、請求項1に記載のパーチメント化した繊維質の支持体。 - 前記繊維質の支持体は、不織支持体である、請求項1又は3に記載のパーチメント化した繊維質の支持体。
- 前記繊維質の支持体は、セルロース、又は再生セルロースなどの天然繊維も含む、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のパーチメント化した繊維質の支持体。
- 前記繊維質の支持体はまた、二酸化チタン、マイカ、タルク、クレー、及び/又は有機非繊維質フィラーなどの非繊維性物質を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のパーチメント化した繊維質の支持体。
- 前記合成繊維及びフィブリドの重量%が、前記パーチメント化した繊維質の支持体の100重量%である。請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のパーチメント化した繊維質の支持体。
- 前記パーチメント化した繊維質の支持体は、
−アラミド繊維、
−アラミドフィブリド、
−天然繊維、及び
−有機及び/又は無機の非繊維質フィラー
を含む、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のパーチメント化した繊維質の支持体。 - 前記パーチメント化した繊維質の支持体は、カレンダー加工されている、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載のパーチメント化した繊維質の支持体。
- 前記パーチメント化した繊維質の支持体は、スーパーカレンダーで、又は約80℃から約350℃の温度でのホットカレンダーでカレンダー加工されている、請求項9に記載のパーチメント化した繊維質の支持体。
- パーチメント化可能な合成アラミド繊維及びアラミドフィブリドを含む前記パーチメント化繊維質支持を、
−線維質の支持体を製造し、
−該線維質の支持体をH2SO4で処理することによりパーチメント化し、
−場合によって、パーチメント化した繊維質の支持体をカレンダー加工する、
工程によって、請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載のパーチメント化した繊維質の支持体を製造する方法。 - 前記繊維質の支持体を、H2SO4で約5〜約60秒処理する、請求項11に記載のパーチメント化した繊維質の支持体を製造する方法。
- 前記H2SO4の濃度が、約50〜約100%である、請求項11に記載のパーチメント化した繊維質の支持体を製造する方法。
- 前記H2SO4の温度が、約−20℃〜約+50℃である、請求項11に記載のパーチメント化した繊維質の支持体を製造する方法。
- 前記繊維質の支持体を、水流交絡(hydroentanglement)によって製造される、請求項11に記載のパーチメント化した繊維質の支持体を製造する方法。
- 前記パーチメント化した繊維質の支持体は、一緒にパーチメント化された少なくとも2つの繊維質の支持体を備える、請求項11に記載のパーチメント化した繊維質の支持体を製造する方法。
- 電気絶縁体、複合材料、ハニカム、濾過装置を製造するための請求項1〜10のいずれかのパーチメント化した繊維質の支持体の使用。
