Claims (17)
- コネクタであって、
突合せ面と、支持面と、取付け側とを有し、更に前記支持面におけるチャンネルを有し、スロットが前記突合せ面に位置し、前記スロットは第1組端子溝が設けられた第1側と、第2組端子溝が設けられた第2側と、前記第1側と前記第2側とによって画定された幅とを有するハウジングと、
前記第1チャンネルに取り付けられる端子ブロックと、
前記取付け側から前記第1組端子溝に延伸し、前記スロット内に第1行端子を形成し、該第1行端子は少なくとも1つの接地端子によって隔てられた第1差動対と第2差動対を備え、前記第1差動対と前記第2差動対を形成する各端子は尾部と、接触部と、本体部とを備え、前記第1差動対と前記第2差動対を形成する各端子の前記本体部はブロック部と自由部を有し、前記ブロック部は前記端子ブロックに位置して第1幅を有し、前記自由部は前記第1幅と異なる第2幅を有し、前記端子ブロックに支持される第1組端子と、
前記取付け面から前記第2組端子溝に延伸し、第2行端子を形成する第2組端子と、を備えるコネクタ。 - 前記第1差動対と前記第2差動対を形成する端子は前記接触部で第1間隔を有し、前記本体部で第2間隔を有し、該第2間隔は前記第1間隔よりも小さい、請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記信号対はブロック部と自由部を有し、前記ブロック部は第1距離で隔たり、前記自由部は第2距離で隔たり、前記第1距離は前記第2距離よりも大きい、請求項2に記載のコネクタ。
- 3dBアプリケーションのバンド幅に対応する信号周波数の10dBよりも小さい反射減衰量を提供するように、前記第1信号対と前記第2信号対は前記尾部と前記接触部との間で差動インピーダンスを整合する、請求項3に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記信号周波数は少なくとも15GHzである、請求項4に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記端子ブロックは第1端子ブロックであり、前記第2組端子は第2端子ブロックに支持され、該第2端子ブロックは前記チャンネルに支持される、請求項5に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記第2端子ブロックに支持される信号対が少なくとも2つあり、各信号対は差動対の役割を果たすように配置される、請求項6に記載のコネクタ。
- コネクタであって、
突合せ面と、支持面と、取付け側とを有し、更に前記支持面におけるチャンネルを有し、スロットが前記突合せ面に位置し、前記スロットは第1組端子溝が設けられた第1側と、第2組端子溝が設けられた第2側と、前記第1側と前記第2側に限定された幅を有するハウジングと、
前記第1チャンネルに取り付けられる端子ブロックと、
前記取付け側から前記第1組端子溝に延伸し、前記スロット内に第1行端子を形成し、該第1行端子はそれぞれその両側が接地端子に囲まれた第1信号端子対と第2信号端子対を備え、各端子は尾部と、接触部と、本体部とを備え、前記信号端子対を形成する端子の本体部は、前記接地端子の本体部及び前記信号端子の本体部と比べ、相互により近づくように位置づけられる第1組端子と、を備えるコネクタ。 - 前記信号端子対を形成する端子の接触部は外へずれることによって、前記信号端子の接触部と前記接地端子の接触部は一致する間隔を有する、請求項8に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記信号端子対は差動カップリングするように配置されることによって、少なくとも36.5%のエネルギーは前記信号端子対によって伝達される、請求項9に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記信号端子対は差動カップリングするように配置されることによって、少なくとも39.6%のエネルギーは前記信号端子対によって伝達される、請求項10に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記信号端子対を形成する端子の尾部は外へずれることによって、前記信号端子の尾部と前記接地端子の尾部は一貫した間隔を有する、請求項11に記載のコネクタ。
- コネクタであって、
突合せ面と、取付け側と、支持面とを有し、前記突合せ面に位置し、幅と、1組の端子溝を有する第1側と有するスロットを備え、更に前記支持面におけるチャンネルを有するハウジングと、
前記取付け側から前記第1側の前記1組の端子溝に延伸し、前記スロットの前記第1側に行を形成し、該行は両側の何れでも接地端子に囲まれた第1信号対と第2信号対を備え、各端子の何れも尾部と、接触部と、本体部とを備える1組の端子と、
前記第1チャンネルに取り付けられ、前記1組の端子を支持し、第1信号対と第2信号対を形成する端子の各々の本体部はブロック部と自由部を有し、前記ブロック部は第1幅を有し、前記自由部は前記第1幅と異なる第2幅を有し、前記ブロック部はその中に位置し、前記信号対は15GHzの信号周波数で差動対として用いられるときに10dBよりも小さい反射減衰量を提供するように配置される端子ブロックと、を備えるコネクタ。 - クロストークは、前記信号周波数以内で40dBよりも小さい、請求項13に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記自由部は第1間隔であり、前記ブロック部は前記第1間隔よりも大きい第2間隔である、請求項14に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記信号対の本体部の自由部の間隔は前記信号対の接触部の間隔よりも小さい、請求項15に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記取付け側から前記スロットの第2側に延伸する第2組端子を更に備え、該第2組端子は前記ハウジングに直接に支持される、請求項16に記載のコネクタ。
