Abstract
Description
本発明は、概して外科手術照明の分野に関し、より具体的には一体化外科手術ツールを有する照明システムに関する。
様々な外科手術処置において、外科手術分野の照明は、典型的には前照灯および外科用顕微鏡を用いることによって達成される。これらの照明源が、品質が劣るかまたは不十分な方向付けのいずれかである照明を提供するという筋書がある。一例として、腰部アプローチからの脊椎外科手術中、所望の解剖学的標的領域へのアクセスは、患者の正中線の片側における斜めの切開部を通って達成され得る。手術用顕微鏡から発する光は、静的であり、外科手術アクセスの角度に対して方向付けが不十分であり得る。逆に、前照灯からの光は、医者が出力ビームを再方向付けするために自分の頭を傾けるかまたは動かすと、調整され得るが、なおも、棘突起または組織および筋肉の層などの様々な解剖学的構造によって遮断され得る。医者が皮膚面の切開部から様々な深度で解剖学的構造の視覚化を必要とする処置の様々な段階を経て進行するので、いずれの光源からの光も適切ではない場合がある。
下記に説明されるデバイスは、外科手術サクションデバイスにおいて改善された照明を提供する。下記に説明される照明サクションデバイスは、中央部分によって接続された近位端と遠位端とを有する金属サクションチューブを含む。サクションチューブの近位端は、真空源との接続のために継手が備え付けられる。サクションチューブは、内側表面と外側表面とを有し、光クラッディングの層は、サクションチューブの中央部の外側表面上で1.29〜1.67の屈折率を有し、照明導波路は、近位端と遠位端とを有する。照明導波路は、サクションチューブの中央部分上に光クラッディングを囲んで形成され、照明導波路の近位端から遠位端にサクションチューブの周りに光を伝導するように働く。照明導波路は、1.46〜1.7の屈折率と、0.33〜0.70の開口数とを有する。照明入力部は、供給源から照明導波路に光を伝導するために、照明導波路の近位端の中に形成される。
図1および図2を参照すると、照明サクション装置10は、アルミニウム、ステンレス鋼または任意の適切なアクリルポリマーもしくは他のポリマーなどの任意の適切な材料から作られるサクションチューブ12を含む。サクションチューブ12は、サクション管腔12Lを囲む。照明導波路14は、入力または近位部分12Pおよび遠位部分12Dが露出されたままで、サクションチューブ12の中央部分12A上のクラッディング層15の上に固定される。照明導波路14は、光11Lが照明器入力14Pから出力14Dに進むと、混光を最適化する、側面14Sまたは側面14Tなどの平らな側面を有し得る。

該サクションチューブの中央部の外側表面上の光クラッディングの層であって、1.29〜1.67の屈折率を有する光クラッディングの層と、
近位端と遠位端とを有する照明導波路であって、該照明導波路は、該照明導波路の近位端から遠位端まで該サクションチューブの周りに光を伝導するために、該サクションチューブの中央部分上の該光クラッディングの周りに配置されており、該照明導波路は、0.33〜0.7の開口数を有し、1.46〜1.70の屈折率を有する、照明導波路と、
照明入力部であって、供給源から該照明導波路に光を伝導するために該照明導波路の近位端の中に形成された、照明入力部と
を備えている、照明サクションデバイス。 - 前記照明導波路の遠位端上の1つ以上の微細構造であって、光を方向付け、事前選択された照明パターンを形成する微細構造をさらに備えている、請求項1に記載の照明サクション装置。

1つ以上の光伝送導管であって、該照明導波路の中に光を導入するために、該照明導波路の近位端に一体化されている、1つ以上の光伝導管と、
