Claims (23)
- 複数の発光ダイオード(LED)を備えた固体照明装置であって、
前記LEDの各々が、第1の主波長を有する光を発光するように構成されたLED素子と、該LED素子により発光された前記光の少なくとも一部を受光し、これに応答して第2の主波長を有する光を発光するように構成された蛍光体とを含み、
前記LED素子と、前記複数のLEDのうちの第1のLEDの前記蛍光体とによって発光された結合光が第1の色点を有し、前記LED素子と、前記複数のLEDのうちの第2のLEDの前記蛍光体とによって発光された結合光が、前記第1の色点を中心とする7ステップマクアダム楕円から外れる第2の色点を有する、
ことを特徴とする固体照明装置。 - 前記第1の色点及び前記第2の色点の各々が、1931CIE色度図上の第1、第2、第3、第4、及び第5の線セグメントによって囲まれた確定領域内に収まり、前記第1の線セグメントが第1の点と第2の点を結び、前記第2の線セグメントが前記第2の点と第3の点を結び、前記第3の線セグメントが前記第3の点と第4の点を結び、前記第4の線セグメントが前記第4の点と第5の点を結び、前記第5の線セグメントが前記第5の点と前記第1の点を結び、前記第1の点のx、y座標が0.32,0.40であり、前記第2の点のx、y座標が0.36,0.48であり、前記第3の点のx、y座標が0.43,0.45であり、前記第4の点のx、y座標が0.42,0.42であり、前記第5の点のx、y座標が0.36,0.38である、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の固体照明装置。 - 前記複数のLEDにより発光された結合光の色度が、1931CIE色度図上の前記確定領域に収まる色点を有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の固体照明装置。 - 前記複数のLEDにより発光された結合光の色度が、2000ケルビン〜8000ケルビンの間で前記黒体軌跡上の任意の点を中心とする10ステップマクアダム楕円から外れる色点を有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の固体照明装置。 - 定電流源をさらに備え、前記複数のLEDが、前記定電流源に結合されて、前記定電流源により供給される定電流を受け取る、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の固体照明装置。 - 1931CIE色度図上の前記確定領域が複数のビンを含み、前記複数のビンの各々が、ほぼ7ステップマクアダム楕円のサイズを有し、前記第1の色点が、前記複数のビンのうちの第1のビンに収まり、前記第2の色点が、前記複数のビンのうちの第2のビンに収まる、
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の固体照明装置。 - 前記第1の主波長が、約430nm〜約480nmである、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の固体照明装置。 - 前記第2の主波長が、約600nm〜約630nmである、
ことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の固体照明装置。 - 前記第2の主波長が、約550nm〜約580nmである、
ことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の固体照明装置。 - 前記第1の主波長が、約500nm〜約530nmである、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の固体照明装置。 - 前記第2の主波長が、約600nm〜約630nmである、
ことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の固体照明装置。 - 前記第2の主波長が、約550nm〜約580nmである、
ことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の固体照明装置。 - 前記複数のLEDが第1の複数のLEDを含み、前記装置が第2の複数のLEDをさらに備え、前記第2のLEDの各々が、第3の主波長を有する光を発光するように構成されたLED素子と、該LED素子により発光された前記光の少なくとも一部を受光し、これに応答して第4の主波長を有する光を発光するように構成された蛍光体とを含み、前記第4の主波長が、前記第2の主波長より少なくとも約25nm高く、前記LED素子と、前記第2の複数のLEDのうちの第1のLEDの前記蛍光体とによって発光された結合光が第3の色点を有し、前記LED素子と、前記第2の複数のLEDのうちの第2のLEDの前記蛍光体とによって発光された結合光が、前記第3の色点を中心とする7ステップマクアダム楕円から外れる第4の色点を有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の固体照明装置。 - 前記第1の主波長が約430nm〜約480nmであり、前記第2の主波長が約550nm〜約580nmであり、前記第3の主波長が約430nm〜約480nmであり、前記第4の主波長が約600nm〜約630nmである、
ことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の固体照明装置。 - 前記第1の主波長が約430nm〜約480nmであり、前記第2の主波長が約550nm〜約580nmであり、前記第3の主波長が約500nm〜約530nmであり、前記第4の主波長が約600nm〜約630nmである、
ことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の固体照明装置。 - 第1の定電流源と、第2の定電流源とをさらに備え、
前記複数のLEDが、前記第1の定電流源に結合されて、前記第1の定電流源により供給される定電流を受け取り、
前記第2の複数のLEDが、前記第2の定電流源に結合されて、前記第2の定電流源により供給される定電流を受け取る、
ことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の固体照明装置。 - 1931CIE色度図上の、前記第1の複数のLEDにより発光された結合光の色点と、前記第2の複数のLEDにより発光された光の色点との間の線セグメントが、約2500ケルビン〜4500ケルビンの間で前記黒体軌跡と交差する、
ことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の固体照明装置。 - 前記複数のLEDが第1の複数のLEDを含み、前記装置が、直列に接続された第2の複数のLEDをさらに備え、前記第2のLEDの各々が、約600nm〜約630nmの第3の主波長を有する光を発光するように構成されたLED素子を含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の固体照明装置。 - 1931CIE色度図上の、前記第1の複数のLEDにより発光された結合光の色点と、前記第2の複数のLEDにより発光された光の色点との間の線セグメントが、約2500ケルビン〜4500ケルビンの間で前記黒体軌跡と交差する、
ことを特徴とする請求項18に記載の固体照明装置。 - 電流源と、
前記電流源に接続されて、前記電流源により供給される駆動電流に応答して光を発光するように構成された発光ダイオード(LED)の列と、
を備え、前記LEDの各々が、第1の主波長を有する光を発光するように構成されたLED素子と、該LED素子により発光された前記光の少なくとも一部を受光し、これに応答して前記第1の主波長とは異なる主波長を有する光を発光するように構成された蛍光体とを含み、
前記LED素子と、前記複数のLEDのうちの第1のLEDの前記蛍光体とによって発光された結合光が第1の色点を有し、前記LED素子と、前記複数のLEDのうちの第2のLEDの前記蛍光体とによって発光された結合光が、前記第1の色点を中心とする7ステップマクアダム楕円から外れる第2の色点を有する、
ことを特徴とする固体照明装置。 - 前記第1の色点及び前記第2の色点の各々が、1931CIE色度図上の第1、第2、第3、第4、及び第5の線セグメントによって囲まれた確定領域内に収まり、前記第1の線セグメントが第1の点と第2の点を結び、前記第2の線セグメントが前記第2の点と第3の点を結び、前記第3の線セグメントが前記第3の点と第4の点を結び、前記第4の線セグメントが前記第4の点と第5の点を結び、前記第5の線セグメントが前記第5の点と前記第1の点を結び、前記第1の点のx、y座標が0.32,0.40であり、前記第2の点のx、y座標が0.36,0.48であり、前記第3の点のx、y座標が0.43,0.45であり、前記第4の点のx、y座標が0.42,0.42であり、前記第5の点のx、y座標が0.36,0.38である、
