- 紙基材と、

前記インクジェット受容塗膜は、粒径2ミクロン未満の粒子が少なくとも96重量%である粒径分布を有する主顔料と、平均粒径3ミクロン以下である副顔料とを有し、総顔料100部に対するバインダが約2〜8重量部であることを特徴とするインクジェット記録媒体。 - 前記主顔料は、炭酸カルシウムを含有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェット記録媒体。
- 前記主顔料は、アラゴナイトを含有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のインクジェット記録媒体。
- 炭酸カルシウム及びプラスチック顔料からなる一群から選択された少なくとも1種類の副顔料をさらに含有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェット記録媒体。
- 前記媒体は、顔料インクジェットにより印刷された際に、モットル値が2.0未満であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェット記録媒体。
- 前記塗膜は、二酸化チタンを含まないことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェット記録媒体。
- 前記バインダは、アニオン親水性スチレンブタジエン/アクリロニトリル(SBA)共重合ラテックスであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェット記録媒体。
- 前記塗膜は、タンパク質バインダ、ポリビニルアルコール、デンプン及びこれらの混合物からなる一群から選択された共同バインダをさらに含有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェット記録媒体。
- 前記主顔料は、総顔料100部に対して約65〜85部であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェット記録媒体。
- 前記塗膜は、総顔料100部に対して約2〜8部のプラスチック顔料をさらに含有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェット記録媒体。
- 前記塗膜は、塗工重量が約2〜7lbs/ream(3,300ft2)であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェット記録媒体。
- 多価金属塩を含むトップコートをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェット記録媒体。
- 二価金属塩を含むトップコートをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェット記録媒体。

- 前記バインダは、デンプンを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェット記録媒体。
- 前記バインダは、デンプンからなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェット記録媒体。
- 二価金属塩を含み、塗工重量が約0.15〜2.5gであるトップコートをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェット記録媒体。
- 前記バインダは、総顔料100部に対して約3.5〜5部であることを特徴とする請求項17に記載のインクジェット記録媒体。
- 前記バインダは、アニオン親水性スチレンブタジエン/アクリロニトリル(SBA)共重合ラテックスを含み、前記インクジェット受容塗膜は、デンプンを共同バインダとしてさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェット記録媒体。
- 前記ラテックス及びデンプンは、2.5:1(ラテックス重量:デンプン重量)未満の比率であることを特徴とする請求項19に記載のインクジェット記録媒体。
