Abstract
【解決手段】鋼材からなるワークを浸炭ガス雰囲気で加熱して浸炭処理を行うことによる浸炭部材の製造方法であって、機械加工されたワークの表面に生じた加工変質層をあらかじめ除去し、浸炭ガスとしてアセチレン系ガスを使用し、大気圧下において600℃以下の温度に加熱保持して浸炭を行う。これにより、アセチレン系ガスを用い、大気圧下、低温で充分に浸炭できるようになった。しかも、いわゆる黒皮や黒粉の発生もほとんど生じない浸炭部材が得られる。

Description
機械加工されたワークの表面に生じた加工変質層をあらかじめ除去し、浸炭ガスとしてアセチレン系ガスを使用し、大気圧下において600℃以下の温度に加熱保持して浸炭を行うことを要旨とする。
アセチレン系ガスを用い、大気圧下、低温で充分に浸炭でき、いわゆる黒皮や黒粉の発生もほとんど生じない。

- 鋼材からなるワークを浸炭ガス雰囲気で加熱して浸炭処理を行うことによる浸炭部材の製造方法であって、
機械加工されたワークの表面に生じた加工変質層をあらかじめ除去し、浸炭ガスとしてアセチレン系ガスを使用し、大気圧下において600℃以下の温度に加熱保持して浸炭を行うことを特徴とする浸炭部材の製造方法。 - 表面のベイルビー層を含む加工変質層を除去する請求項1記載の浸炭部材の製造方法。
