Abstract
【解決手段】雌端子10は、雄端子11が挿入される筒部14と、筒部14の底壁15から筒部14の内方に突出すると共に、筒部14内への雄端子11の挿入方向と交差する方向に並ぶ複数の第1弾性片23と、筒部14のうち複数の第1弾性片23のそれぞれに対応する位置に配されて、複数の弾性片のそれぞれとの間に雄端子11を挟む複数の接点部と、を備える。

Description
前記第1弾性片及び前記接点部は、前記挿入方向と交差する方向の両端部寄りの位置に配されていることが好ましい。
本発明の実施形態1を、図1ないし図9を参照しつつ説明する。本実施形態に係る雌端子10は、雄端子11に電気的に接続されるようになっている。以下の説明においては、図1における左方を前方とし、図1における右方を後方として説明する。また、図1における上方を上方とし、下方を下方とする。
雄端子11は金属板材を所定の形状にプレス加工してなる。雄端子11は細長い板状をなす雄タブ12を有する。雄端子11は、図示しない電線の端末に接続されていてもよく、また、図示しない機器に接続される構成としてもよい。
雌端子10は、雄端子11の雄タブ12が挿入される筒部14を有する。図2ないし図4に示すように、筒部14は、前後方向に開口する略角筒状をなしている。筒部14は、底壁15と、底壁15の両側縁から上方に立ち上がる一対の側壁16と、底壁15に対向する天井壁17と、を備える。
底壁15の前端縁には、第1基端部24が突出して形成されている。第1基端部24は、底壁15の前端縁から筒部14の内方に折り返された形状をなしている。図4に示すように、第1基端部24は筒部14の前端縁から前方にやや突出している。
天井壁17の前端縁には、第2基端部27が突出して形成されている。第2基端部27は、天井壁17の前端縁から筒部14の内方に折り返された形状をなしている。図4に示すように、第2基端部27は筒部14の前端縁から前方にやや突出している。
続いて、本実施形態の作用、効果について説明する。図8に示すように、雄端子11が筒部14内に挿入されると、雄端子11は、第1弾性片23と第2弾性片26との間に進入する。すると、雄端子11に押圧されることにより、第1弾性片23は下方に弾性変形し、第2弾性片26は上方に弾性変形する。更に雄端子11が筒部14の後方に進入すると、雄端子11は、第1弾性片23の第1接点部25と、第2弾性片26の第2接点部28との間に進入する。第1弾性片23の弾発力により雄端子11が押圧されることにより、雄端子11は第2接点部28に適正な接触圧で押圧される。一方、第2弾性片26の弾発力により雄端子11が押圧されることにより、雄端子11は第1接点部25に適正な接触圧で押圧される。これにより、雄端子11と雌端子10とが電気的に接続される。
本発明は上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施形態に限定されるものではなく、例えば次のような実施形態も本発明の技術的範囲に含まれる。
(1)電線13に接続される雌端子10に限られず、図示しない機器に接続された雌端子10でもよく、また、バスバーの先端に形成された雌端子10でもよい。

Claims (6)
- 雄端子が挿入される筒部と、
前記筒部の底壁から前記筒部の内方に突出すると共に、前記筒部内への前記雄端子の挿入方向と交差する方向に並ぶ複数の第1弾性片と、
前記筒部のうち前記複数の第1弾性片のそれぞれに対応する位置に配されて、前記複数の弾性片のそれぞれとの間に前記雄端子を挟む複数の接点部と、を備えた雌端子。 - 前記第1弾性片及び前記接点部は、前記挿入方向と交差する方向の両端部寄りの位置に配されている請求項1に記載の雌端子。
- 前記底壁の前端縁から前記筒部の内方に折り返された形状をなす第1基端部を有し、前記複数の第1弾性片は前記第1基端部から後方に延びて形成されている請求項1または請求項2に記載の雌端子。
- 前記複数の接点部は、前記筒部のうち前記底壁と対向する天井壁から前記筒部の内方に突出すると共に、前記筒部内への前記雄端子の挿入方向と交差する方向に並ぶ複数の第2弾性片に形成されている請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の雌端子。
- 前記第2弾性片は、前記挿入方向と交差する方向の両端部寄りの位置に配されている請求項4に記載の雌端子。
- 前記天井壁の前端縁から前記筒部の内方に折り返された形状をなす第2基端部を有し、前記複数の第2弾性片は前記第2基端部から後方に延びて形成されている請求項4または請求項5に記載の雌端子。
