Abstract

Claims (19)
- 電極組立体;
前記電極組立体を収容するケース;
前記ケースに結合されたキャッププレート;
前記電極組立体に電気的に連結され、前記キャッププレートを通して延長された端子;および
前記端子と前記キャッププレートの間に位置し、前記キャッププレートを前記端子と共に電気的に連結するように、前記キャッププレートと前記端子のうちの一つに接触する先端(apex)を有する安全部材を含むことを特徴とする2次電池。 - 前記端子は前記キャッププレートの端子ホールを通して延長することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の2次電池。
- 前記安全部材は前記先端が前記端子に接触するように前記キャッププレートの前記端子ホールの内側から突出していることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の2次電池。
- 前記2次電池は安全部材の対を含み、前記安全部材の対は前記端子の対向側に接触することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の2次電池。
- 前記端子は対向する長側対および対向する短側対を含み、そして
前記安全部材の対は前記端子の対向する長側に接触可能に接触することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の2次電池。 - 前記端子は対向する長側対および対向する短側対を含み、そして
前記安全部材の対は前記端子の対向する短側に接触可能に接触することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の2次電池。 - 前記端子は対向する長側対および対向する短側対を含み、そして
前記2次電池は安全部材の複数の対を含み、そして
前記安全部材の複数の対のうちの少なくとも一対は前記端子の対向する長側に沿って前記端子に接触することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の2次電池。 - 前記安全部材の複数の対のうちの他の対は前記端子の対向する短側に接触することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の2次電池。
- 前記安全部材は前記先端が前記キャッププレートの前記端子ホールの内面に接触することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の2次電池。
- 前記2次電池は安全部材の対を含み、前記安全部材の対は前記端子ホールの対向する面に接触することを特徴とする請求項9に記載の2次電池。
- 前記端子ホールの内面は対向する長側面の対および対向する短側面の対を含み、そして
前記安全部材の対は前記端子ホールの前記内面の対向する長側に接触可能に接触することを特徴とする請求項10に記載の2次電池。 - 前記端子ホールの内面は対向する長側面の対および対向する短側面の対を含み、そして
前記安全部材の対は前記端子ホールの前記内面の対向する短側に接触可能に接触することを特徴とする請求項10に記載の2次電池。 - 前記端子ホールの内面は対向する長側面の対および対向する短側面の対を含み、
前記2次電池は前記安全部材の複数の対を含み、そして
前記安全部材の複数の対のうちの少なくとも一つは前記端子ホールの内面の対向する長側に沿って前記端子ホールの内面に接触することを特徴とする請求項10に記載の2次電池。 - 前記安全部材の複数の対のうちの他の対は前記端子ホールの前記内面の対向する短側に接触することを特徴とする請求項13に記載の2次電池。
- 前記端子ホールに形成された絶縁性のモールド樹脂をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の2次電池。
- 前記安全部材は前記キャッププレートまたは前記端子と一体に形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の2次電池。
- 前記安全部材は前記キャッププレートまたは前記端子とは別個に形成された部材であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の2次電池。
- 前記安全部材は前記キャッププレートまたは前記端子と同じ材質で形成されたことを特徴とする請求項17に記載の2次電池。
- 前記安全部材の前記先端(apex)は半球形、ピラミッド形および梯形のうちの一つで提供されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の2次電池。
