Abstract
【解決手段】フュージング部材または転写固定部材200は、熱可塑性ポリイミドポリマーとポリベンズイミダゾールとから作られているベルト基板210、その上に形成されたシコーンおよびフルオロエラストマーからなる群から選択された材料を含む1つ以上の機能性中間層220、およびフルオロポリマーを含む剥離層である外側表面層230により構成される。

Description
機能性中間層220(緩衝層または中間層とも呼ばれる)に用いられる材料の例としては、フルオロシリコーン、シリコーンゴム、例えば、室温加硫(RTV)シリコーンゴム、高温加硫(HTV)シリコーンゴム、低温加硫(LTV)シリコーンゴムが挙げられる。これらのゴムは既知であり、商業的に簡単に入手可能であり、例えば、SILASTIC(登録商標)735ブラックRTVおよびSILASTIC(登録商標)732 RTV(いずれもDow Corning製);106 RTV Silicone Rubberおよび90 RTV Silicone Rubber(いずれもGeneral Electric製);JCR6115CLEAR HTVおよびSE4705U HTVシリコーンゴム(Dow Corning Toray Silicones製)である。他の適切なシリコーン材料としては、シロキサン(例えば、ポリジメチルシロキサン);フルオロシリコーン(例えば、Silicone Rubber 552(Sampson Coatings(リッチモンド、バージニア)から入手可能));液体シリコーンゴム、例えば、ビニル架橋した熱硬化性ゴム、またはシラノールを室温で架橋した材料などが挙げられる。別の特定の例は、Dow Corning Sylgard 182である。市販のLSRゴムとしては、Dow Corning製のDow Corning Q3−6395、Q3−6396、SILASTIC(登録商標)590 LSR、SILASTIC(登録商標)591 LSR、SILASTIC(登録商標)595 LSR、SILASTIC(登録商標)596 LSR、SILASTIC(登録商標)598 LSRが挙げられる。機能性層は、弾力性を付与し、必要な場合には、例えば、SiCまたはAl2O3のような無機粒子と混合してもよい。
剥離層230の例示的な実施形態は、フルオロポリマー粒子を含む。本明細書に記載の配合物で使用するのに適したフルオロポリマー粒子は、フッ素含有ポリマーを含む。これらのポリマーは、フッ化ビニリデン、ヘキサフルオロプロピレン、テトラフルオロエチレン、ペルフルオロアルキルビニルエーテル、およびこれらの混合物からなる群から選択されるモノマー繰り返し単位を含むフルオロポリマーを含む。フルオロポリマーは、直鎖または分枝鎖のポリマー、架橋したフルオロエラストマーを含んでいてもよい。フルオロポリマーの例としては、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE);ペルフルオロアルコキシポリマー樹脂(PFA);テトラフルオロエチレン(TFE)とヘキサフルオロプロピレン(HFP)とのコポリマー;ヘキサフルオロプロピレン(HFP)とフッ化ビニリデン(VDF(登録商標)またはVF2)とのコポリマー;テトラフルオロエチレン(TFE)、フッ化ビニリデン(VDF(登録商標))、ヘキサフルオロプロピレン(HFP)のターポリマー;テトラフルオロエチレン(TFE)、フッ化ビニリデン(VF2)、ヘキサフルオロプロピレン(HFP)のテトラポリマー、およびこれらの混合物が挙げられる。フルオロポリマー粒子は、化学薬品および熱に安定であり、表面エネルギーが低い。フルオロポリマー粒子は、融点が約255℃〜約360℃、または約280℃〜約330℃である。これらの粒子が融解して剥離層を形成する。
場合により、任意の既知の接着層および入手可能な適切な接着層(プライマー層とも呼ばれる)が、剥離層230、機能性中間層220、基板210の間に配置されていてもよい。適切な接着剤の例としては、アミノシランのようなシラン類(例えば、Dow Corning製のHV Primer 10)、チタネート、ジルコネート、アルミネートなど、およびこれらの混合物が挙げられる。一実施形態では、約0.001%溶液〜約10%溶液中の接着剤が基板にワイピングされてもよい。接着層は、約2nm〜約2,000nm、または約2nm〜約500nmの厚みで基板または外側層にコーティングされてもよい。接着剤を、スプレーコーティングまたはワイピングを含む既知の任意の適切な技術によってコーティングしてもよい。
本明細書に開示されている基材層210は、熱可塑性ポリイミドとポリベンズイミダゾールとを含む組成物である。
Claims (9)
- 熱可塑性ポリイミド/ポリベンズイミダゾールブレンドを含む基材層を備えるフューザー部材。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリイミドが、以下の構造

- 前記ポリベンズイミダゾールが、以下の構造
- 前記熱可塑性ポリイミドが、前記基材層の約1〜約95重量%の量で存在し、前記ポリベンズイミダゾールが、前記基材層の約1〜約95重量%の量で存在する、請求項1に記載のフューザー部材。
- 熱可塑性ポリイミド/ポリベンズイミダゾールブレンドを含む基材層と、
シリコーンおよびフルオロエラストマーからなる群から選択される材料を含む中間層と、
中間層の上に配置された、フルオロポリマーを含む剥離層と
を備える、フューザー部材。 - 前記中間層または前記基板層の上に配置された接着層をさらに備える、請求項6に記載のフューザー部材。
- 熱可塑性ポリイミド/ポリベンズイミダゾールブレンドを含む基材層(この熱可塑性ポリイミドが、以下の構造
シリコーンおよびフルオロエラストマーからなる群から選択される材料を含む中間層と、
中間層の上に配置された、フルオロポリマーを含む剥離層と
を備える、フューザー部材。 - 前記熱可塑性ポリイミドが、前記基材層の約1〜約95重量%の量で存在し、前記ポリベンズイミダゾールが、前記基材層の約1〜約95重量%の量で存在する、請求項8に記載のフューザー部材。
