Abstract
【解決手段】部品を処理するための再使用可能な真空バッグは、柔軟性のあるダイアフラム内に概ね剛体のフレームを封入することによって作成される。バッグは室温硬化性RTVシリコンなどのエラストマー材料等を用い、フレームがダイヤフラムの周囲に延在し、ダイヤフラムを密封する為のシールを含んでいる。

Description
ツール表面38全体にエラストマー被覆64を適用すること、あるいは噴霧60、押出し又は他の応用技法によって、ダイアフラム22(図13)が形成される。次に、手順80で、フレーム24(図14)は、第1エラストマー被覆64に接するようにダイアフラム22の辺縁部に配置される。手順82では、図15に示したように、フレーム24の側面68、72及び上面70全体に第2エラスティック被覆を適用することによってフレーム24は封入32される。スプレーヘッド62から噴霧60することによって、又は押出し成形を含むがこれに限定されない他の技法を用いることによって、第2被覆を適用することができる。第2被覆66は、フレーム24の側面68、72及び上面70を覆い、且つ第1被覆64と結合して重なり、実質的に一体化した単一の構造になり、その後硬化する。

Claims (14)
- 部品を処理するための真空バッグであって、
部品を覆うように適用される柔軟性のあるダイアフラムと、
ダイアフラム内に封入される概ね剛体のフレームと
を含む、真空バッグ。 - 前記ダイアフラムがエラストマー材料である、請求項1に記載の真空バッグ。
- 前記ダイアフラムがRTVシリコンである、請求項1または2に記載の真空バッグ。
- 前記フレームが複合材料である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の真空バッグ。
- 前記フレームがダイアフラム内に封入されている、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の真空バッグ。
- 部品の処理時に表面に対してダイアフラムを密封するためのシールをさらに含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の真空バッグ。
- 前記シールが前記ダイアフラムと一体に形成される、請求項6に記載の真空バッグ。
- 前記シールが前記封入されたフレームに取り付けられている、請求項6または7に記載の真空バッグ。
- 前記フレームがダイアフラムによって囲まれた側面を有する、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の真空バッグ。
- 部品を処理するための真空バッグを作る方法であって、
柔軟性のあるダイアフラムを形成するステップと、
ダイアフラム内に概ね剛体のフレームを封入するステップと
を含む、方法。 - ダイアフラムを形成するステップが、ツール表面にエラストマーを被覆するステップを含み、且つ、
フレームを封入するステップが、エラストマー被覆上にフレームを配置するステップ及びフレーム全体にエラストマーを追加適用するステップを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。 - シールをダイアフラムと一体に形成するステップをさらに含む、請求項10又は11に記載の方法。
- シールを形成するステップが、ツール表面上にシール要素を配置するステップを含み、且つ
ダイアフラムを形成するステップが、シールを覆うツール表面全体にエラストマー被覆を噴霧するステップを含む、請求項12に記載の方法。 - シール及びエラストマー被覆を同時硬化するステップを更に含む、請求項12または13に記載の方法。
