Abstract
Description
本願は、米国仮出願第61/169,629号(2009年4月15日出願、名称「Implant Delivery System」)の利益を主張する。該出願の内容は、参照により本明細書に援用される。
本発明は、患者の体内の標的部位または場所にインプラントデバイスを送達するためのシステムおよび方法に関する。本発明はまた、患者の体内のインプラント分離を検出する方法にも関する。
Claims (25)
- インプラント用の送達システムであって、
遠位端および近位端を有する細長い部材であって、該細長い部材の該遠位端は、該インプラントを保持するように動作可能である、細長い部材と、
該細長い部材および該インプラントに接続可能であるテザー部材と、
該細長い部材上に配置された加熱部材と
を備え、
該加熱部材は、中空通路を有し、該テザー部材の少なくとも一部分は、該中空通路に存在し、該テザー部材は、該加熱部材の該中空通路の中に存在する唯一のアイテムである、
送達システム。 - 前記加熱部材は、第1の直径を有する第1の領域と、第2の直径を有する第2の領域とを備える、請求項1に記載の送達システム。
- 前記第2の領域は、前記テザー部材のより近くに位置付けられる、請求項2に記載の送達システム。
- 前記テザーは、約0.004インチの外径を有し、前記第1の直径は、約0.007インチであり、前記第2の直径は、約0.005インチである、請求項3に記載の送達システム。
- 前記加熱部材は、前記細長い部材の側面に沿って固定された電気作動型加熱コイルである、請求項1に記載の送達システム。
- 前記インプラントは、複数のセルを有するステントであり、前記テザー部材は、該複数のセルのうちの少なくとも1つを通して位置付けられる、請求項1に記載の送達システム。
- 前記テザー部材は、前記複数のセルのうちの多数のセルを通過する、請求項6に記載の送達システム。
- 前記テザー部材は、圧縮された構成で前記ステントを維持する、請求項7に記載の送達システム。
- インプラント用の送達システムであって、
細長い形状を有する押込器部材と、
該インプラントに接続可能である該押込器部材の遠位端と、
該押込器部材を該インプラントに接続するテザーと、
該テザーの上に載置された加熱要素と
を備え、
該加熱要素は、該テザーの外径と実質的に同じである内径を有し、該加熱要素は、該テザーの断絶を引き起こす温度上昇を生成するように制御可能である、
送達システム。 - 前記加熱要素は、管状の形状を有する、請求項9に記載の送達システム。
- 前記加熱要素は、第1の直径を有する第1の領域と、第2の直径を有する第2の領域とを有する、請求項10に記載の送達システム。
- 前記第2の領域は、前記第1の領域よりも前記テザーの近くに位置付けられる、請求項11に記載の送達システム。
- 前記テザーは、約0.004インチの外径を有し、前記第1の直径は、約0.007インチであり、前記第2の直径は、約0.005インチである、請求項12に記載の送達システム。
- 前記テザーは、少なくとも3本のテザーストランドを備え、該少なくとも3つのテザーストランドのそれぞれは、前記インプラントに固定される、請求項9に記載の送達システム。
- 前記インプラントは、複数のセルを有するステントであり、前記テザーは、該複数のセルのうちの少なくともいくつかを通して位置付けられる、請求項9に記載の送達システム。
- 前記テザーは、圧縮された構成で前記ステントを維持する、請求項15に記載の送達システム。
- 患者の脈管系に挿入するためのサイズを有する細長い部材と、
該細長い部材上に配置されたヒータであって、該ヒータは、内部通路を有し、該内部通路は、第1の直径を有する第1の領域と第2の直径を有する第2の領域とを備えている、ヒータと、
該ヒータの該内部通路を通して位置付けられた可撓性テザー部材と
を備え、
該可撓性テザーは、該インプラントに接続可能であり、該細長い部材に対して該インプラントを保持する、
インプラント送達システム。 - 前記ヒータの前記内部通路は、前記テザーのみを取り囲むようなサイズを有する、請求項17に記載のインプラント送達システム。
- 前記テザーは、約0.004インチの外径を有し、前記第1の直径は、約0.007インチであり、前記第2の直径は、約0.005インチである、請求項17に記載のインプラント送達システム。
- 前記ヒータの外面は、前記細長い部材に固定されている、請求項17に記載のインプラント送達システム。
- インプラント用の送達システムであって、
患者の脈管系に挿入するためのサイズを有する細長い部材と、
該細長い部材上に配置されたヒータであって、該ヒータは、内部通路を有し、該内部通路は、第1の直径を有する第1の領域と第2の直径を有する第2の領域とを備えている、ヒータと、
該ヒータの該内部通路を通して位置付けられた複数のテザー部材と
を備え、
該複数のテザー部材は、該インプラントに接続可能であり、該細長い部材に対して該インプラントを保持する、
送達システム。 - 前記複数のテザー部材は、前記インプラントの複数の異なる場所に接続可能である、請求項21に記載の送達システム。
- インプラントを解放する方法であって、
脈管系に挿入するためのサイズを有する送達デバイスを提供することと、
該送達デバイスの遠位端付近でヒータを起動することであって、該インプラントは、テザーを用いて、該送達デバイスの遠位端において該送達デバイスに接続されている、ことと、
該テザーの円周領域を該ヒータの内部通路と接触させることによって、該テザーを加熱することと
を含む、方法。 - 前記テザーを加熱することは、前記ヒータの第1の直径を有する第1の領域と、該ヒータの第2の直径を有する第2の領域とを加熱することをさらに含む、請求項23に記載の方法。
- 前記テザーの円周領域を、前記ヒータの前記第1の領域のみと接触させることをさらに含む、請求項24に記載の方法。
