Abstract
Description
本出願は、2009年1月9日に出願された、“Exposed Natural Trim Fiber”と題された米国仮出願第61/143,619号、及び2009年9月3日に出願された、“Natural Fiber Trim Panel”と題された米国仮出願第61/239,563号の優先権を主張し、これらの出願の開示の全体が本出願の一部として考慮され、及び参照として包含される。
Claims (34)
- 実質的に天然繊維から形成されるベース層と、
介在するホットメルト接着剤を使用することなく、前記ベース層に直接施与される保護部材であって、ここで前記保護部材は60℃〜170℃の範囲のTMAを有する、保護部材
とを含む、トリムパネル。 - 前記合成繊維は、木質繊維、リグニン繊維、及び例えば、木材、ケナフ、麻、黄麻、亜麻、カラムシ、ローゼル、ラタン、大豆、オクラ、バナナ繊維、竹、ココナツ、コイア、綿、クラワ、アバカ、マツ、パイナップル、ラフィア、及び/又はサイザル麻などの他のセルロース繊維からなる群より選択される、請求項1に記載のトリムパネル。
- 前記保護部材は、ポリエーテル、ポリエステル、ポリカプロラクトン、ポリカーボネート又は任意の有機油ベースのポリオール(すなわち、大豆、トウモロコシ、及びヒマ)などのポリオールからなる群より選択される材料から形成される、請求項1に記載のトリムパネル。
- 着色部材をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のトリムパネル。
- 前記保護部材は約0.02mm〜0.15mmの厚さを有する、請求項1に記載のトリムパネル。
- 前記保護部材は、前記ベース層に少なくとも部分的に埋め込まれている、請求項1に記載のトリムパネル。
- 前記天然繊維は開口部を含み、そして前記保護部材は少なくとも部分的に前記開口部に吸収される、請求項1に記載のトリムパネル。
- 前記ベース層は重量%で最大50%の合成繊維を含む、請求項1に記載のトリムパネル。
- 前記保護部材は60℃〜170℃の間でガス及び水蒸気を透過する、請求項1に記載のトリムパネル。
- 前記保護部材は液状水及び紫外線に実質的に不浸透性である、請求項1に記載のトリムパネル。
- 前記保護層は穴が開けられていない、請求項1に記載のトリムパネル。
- 前記保護部材は着色剤を含む、請求項1に記載のトリムパネル。
- 実質的に天然繊維から形成されるベース層と、
介在するホットメルト接着剤を使用することなく、前記ベース層に直接施与される保護部材であって、ここで前記保護部材は60℃〜170℃の範囲のTMAを有する、保護部材と、及び
前記ベース層及び前記保護部材の少なくとも1つに適用される着色部材
とを含む、トリムパネル。 - 前記天然繊維は、木質繊維、リグニン繊維、及び例えば、木材、ケナフ、麻、黄麻、亜麻、カラムシ、ローゼル、ラタン、大豆、オクラ、バナナ繊維、竹、ココナツ、コイア、綿、クラワ、アバカ、マツ、パイナップル、ラフィア、及び/又はサイザル麻などの他のセルロース繊維からなる群より選択される、請求項13に記載のトリムパネル。
- 前記保護部材は、ポリエーテル、ポリエステル、ポリカプロラクトン、ポリカーボネート又は任意の有機油ベースのポリオール(すなわち、大豆、トウモロコシ、及びヒマ)などのポリオールからなる群より選択される材料から選択される、請求項13に記載のトリムパネル。
- 前記ベース層は、前記天然繊維間に窪みを含み、そして前記保護層は少なくとも部分的に前記窪みを充填する、請求項13に記載のトリムパネル。
- 前記着色部材は、前記繊維に直接施与される、請求項16に記載のトリムパネル。
- 前記着色部材は、前記保護部材と前記天然繊維との間に位置する、請求項16に記載のトリムパネル。
- 前記保護部材は、前記天然繊維と前記着色部材との間に位置する、請求項16に記載のトリムパネル。
- 前記TMAの範囲は80℃〜150℃の間である、請求項13に記載のトリムパネル。
- 前記ベース層は、重量%で最大50%の合成繊維を含む、請求項13に記載のトリムパネル。
- 前記保護部材は60℃〜170℃の間でガス及び水蒸気を透過する、請求項13に記載のトリムパネル。
- 前記保護部材は液状水及び紫外線に実質的に不浸透性である、請求項13に記載のトリムパネル。
- 前記保護層は穴が空けられていない、請求項13に記載のトリムパネル。
- 前記保護部材は前記着色部材を含む、請求項13に記載のトリムパネル。
- 実質的に天然繊維から形成されたベース層を提供すること、
液状水及び紫外線に実質的に不浸透性である一方で、60℃〜220℃の間でガス及び水蒸気を透過する保護部材を提供すること、
前記保護部材を前記ベース層に施与すること
を含む、トリムパネルを形成する方法。 - 前記保護部材を施与するステップは、60℃〜220℃の間で加熱することをさらに含む、請求項26に記載の方法。
- 前記保護部材を施与するステップは、前記ベース層と前記施与された保護部材とを最終形状へと圧縮成形するステップをさらに含む、請求項26に記載の方法。
- 前記保護部材を施与するステップは、前記ベース層と前記施与された保護部材とを成形するステップの前である、請求項28に記載の方法。
- 前記保護部材を施与するステップは、前記保護部材を前記天然繊維に埋め込むステップをさらに含む、請求項26に記載の方法。
- 前記保護部材を施与するステップは、前記ベース層を成形するステップの後である、請求項26に記載の方法。
- 前記保護部材を施与するステップは、約220℃に加熱するステップを含む、請求項26に記載の方法。
- 前記保護部材を施与するステップは、約170℃に加熱するステップを含む、請求項26に記載の方法。
- 実質的に天然繊維から形成されたベース層と、
介在するホットメルト接着剤を使用することなく、前記ベース層に直接施与される、穴があけられていない保護部材であって、前記保護層は雰囲気温度で水及び紫外線に実質的に不浸透性であり、かつ60℃〜220℃の間でガス及び水蒸気を透過する、保護部材と、
を含む、トリムパネル。
