発泡体反応性:発泡体反応性は、20×20×20cmの型を用い、200gの注入重量(shot-weight)の自由上昇発泡体について決定する。周囲圧で作製したこれらの発泡体から、クリームタイム、ゲル時間、および不粘着時間を決定する。
クリームタイムは、反応剤の目視変化(曇り)が起こるまでの、混合工程の始めからの時間経過(秒)である。
ゲル時間は、舌圧子(tongue depressor)を用いてストリングを上昇発泡体(rising foam)から引き抜くことができるまでの、混合工程の始めからの時間(秒)である。
不粘着時間は、発泡体の上端表面が、操作者の指に粘り付かなくなるまでの、混合工程の始めからの時間(秒)である。
ポリオールシステムの粘度は、ASTM D445に準拠して測定される、発泡剤を含まない、完全配合されたポリオールの粘度である(25℃における、mPa.s)。
最小充填密度(Minimum Fill Density):型を完全に充填するために必要な最小重量、およびこの型の体積から決定される密度。MFDは、ブレット型が、95%より大きく充填される場合、ブレット型長から推定してもよい。MFDは、kg/m3で報告する。
成形密度(Molded Density) 型に注入された重量、およびこの型の体積から決定される密度。MDは、kg/m3で報告する。測定された成形密度は、サンプル重量を測定し、かつ、各サンプル重量をサンプルの測定体積で割ることによって、少なくとも5つの100×100×「厚さ」(mm)(外板(skin)を含む)のサンプルの平均から決定する。
過剰充填 過剰充填は、[成形密度×100/最小充填密度]として定義される。過剰充填を%で報告し、物理発泡剤および適用される型内圧力に応じて、10〜25%の典型的な値を有する。
圧力 本発明に記載の圧力は、発泡体にかかる空気圧、型の空洞内の空気圧、または型にかかる発泡体塊の圧力とすることができる。圧力はすべて、ミリバール(mbar)またはキロパスカル(kPa)単位の、絶対圧力で報告する。
(比較)
実施例1で使用した成分、一般条件、および装置を用いて、第2シリーズの発泡体を調製する。しかし、表3に示すように、その実施例の修正を使用し、またこの一連の発泡体(対照発泡体2、ならびに発泡体例5および6と表す)に関する試験結果を表4に示す。
(比較)
表5に与えられた成分を使用し、一連の発泡体を調製する。発泡体は、ジャンボ(Jumbo)型(70×35×10cm)内で調製される。発泡体の後膨張を、異なる離型時間を用いた発泡体について、24時間後に測定する。後膨張は離型性能の尺度である。製造された発泡体の特性を表6に与える。
Claims (17)
- 空洞を充填する独立気泡硬質ポリウレタン発泡体を調製する方法であって、
(a)成分として、少なくとも
ポリイソシアネートと、
少なくとも10重量%のアミン開始ポリオールを含有し、ASTM D445に従い、25℃において少なくとも5,000cPの粘度を有するポリオールシステムと、
非クロロフルオロカーボンの物理発泡剤と、
発泡触媒と、
硬化触媒と、
任意選択でポリオールシステムに基づき1.6重量%未満の量の水と
を含む、反応性発泡体形成システムを調製するステップ、
(b)減圧下において、反応性発泡体形成システムを空洞内に注入し、反応性発泡体形成システムが25秒以内にゲルを形成するステップ、ならびに
(c)ゲルが、約40kg/m3未満の密度、250ミクロン未満の平均気泡径、およびISO 12939/DIN 52612に従い、10℃の平均板温度において19mW/mK未満の熱伝導率を有する、独立気泡硬質ポリウレタン発泡体を少なくとも形成するまで、減圧を維持するステップ
を含む方法。 - ポリイソシアネートが、4,4’−、2,4’−および2,2’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートおよび対応する異性体混合物、4,4’−および2,4’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートの混合物、ポリフェニル−ポリメチレンポリイソシアネート、4,4’−、2,4’−および2,2’−ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネートの混合物、ならびにそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- アミン開始ポリオールが、モノアルキルおよびジアルキル−置換エチレンジアミン、1,2−、1,3−、1,4−、1,5−、および1,6−ヘキサメチレンジアミン、アニリン、2,3−、2,4−、3,4−、および2,6−トリレンジアミン、エタノールアミン、ジエタノールアミン、トリエタノールアミン、ならびにそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 非クロロフルオロカーボンの物理発泡剤が、アルカン、シクロアルカン、ヒドロフルオロアルカン、およびそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 発泡触媒が、ビス−(2−ジメチルアミノエチル)エーテル、ペンタメチルジエチレントリアミン、トリエチルアミン、トリブチルアミン、N,N−ジメチルアミノプロピルアミン、ジメチルエタノールアミン、テトラメチルエチレンジアミン、およびそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 発泡触媒が、ビス−(2−ジメチルアミノエチル)エーテル、ペンタメチルジエチレントリアミン、およびそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 硬化触媒が、アミジン、有機金属化合物、およびそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 硬化触媒が、1,8−ジアザビシクロ[5.4.0]ウンデカ−7−エン、2,3−ジメチル−3,4,5,6−テトラヒドロ−ピリミジン、有機カルボン酸のスズ(II)およびジアルキルスズ(IV)塩、有機カルボン酸のビスマス塩、ならびにそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 減圧が、約350mbarから約850mbarの範囲である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 硬質ポリウレタン発泡体の密度が、約38kg/m3未満である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 硬質ポリウレタン発泡体の密度が、約36kg/m3未満である、請求項10に記載の方法。
- ポリオールシステムの粘度が、ASTM D445に従い、25℃において少なくとも約6,000cPである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記システムが、約20秒以内にゲル化する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ISO 12939/DIN 52612に従い、10℃の平均板温度における熱伝導率が約18.5mW/mK未満である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 発泡触媒および硬化触媒を一緒にした総量が、ポリオールシステムの重量に基づき、約1.7%より大きい、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 空洞を充填する独立気泡硬質ポリウレタン発泡体を調製する方法であって、
(a)成分として、少なくとも
ポリイソシアネートと、
少なくとも約10重量%のアミン開始ポリオールを含有し、またASTM D445に従い、25℃において少なくとも約5,000cPの粘度を有するポリオールシステムと、
非クロロフルオロカーボンの物理発泡剤と、
発泡触媒と、
硬化触媒と、
任意選択でポリオールシステム基づき約1.6重量%未満の量の水と
を含む、反応性発泡体形成システムを調製するステップ、
(b)大気圧以上において、反応性発泡体形成システムを空洞内に注入し、反応性発泡体形成システムが約25秒以内にゲルを形成するステップ、
(c)空洞を減圧下に付すステップ、ならびに
(d)ゲルが、約40kg/m3未満の密度、約250ミクロン未満の平均気泡径、およびISO 12939/DIN 52612に従い、10℃の平均板温度において約19mW/mK未満の熱伝導率を有する、独立気泡硬質ポリウレタン発泡体を少なくとも形成するまで、減圧を維持するステップ
を含む方法。 - 発泡触媒および硬化触媒が、ジメチルベンジルアミン、N−メチル−、N−エチル−およびN−シクロヘキシルモルホリン、N,N,N’,N’−テトラメチルブタンジアミン、およびN,N,N’,N’−テトラメチルヘキサンジアミン、ビス(ジメチルアミノ−プロピル)ウレア、ジメチルピペラジン、ジメチルシクロヘキシルアミン、1,2−ジメチル−イミダゾール、1−アザ−ビシクロ[3.3.0]オクタン、トリエチレンジアミン、ならびにそれらの組合せからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
