Description
カキはカキの木になる果実で、ブドウ糖と果糖の含有量が多く、渋味を出すジオスピリンというタンニン成分を含んでいる。カキは、その他ペクチン、カロテノイドなども含有している。柿渋を利用して染色する場合、赤褐色系の色が発色される。
淡黄色の花を咲かせるアカネ科の多年つる植物で、主に根が染色材料として使われる。
アカネ科の常緑低木で、通常その果実をクチナシの実と称する。昔から食物の着色剤などとしても使用されてきた。
クリの木の果実で、炭水化物、タンパク質、各種脂肪、カルシウム、ビタミンなどが含まれている。殻から得たタンニンが、染色や皮革加工などに使われる。
シコンは、双子葉植物筒花植物目(Tubiflorales)ムラサキ科の多年草であるムラサキの根で、漢方では薬材として使われ、昔から紫色の染料として使用されてきた。
カメムシ目アブラムシ科のヌルデシロアブラムシがウルシ科のヌルデ(ゴールの木)の葉に寄生して作る虫こぶを、ゴールと称する。ゴールは、タンニン成分を50〜60%含有しており、タンニン剤をはじめ毛染め剤やインクの原料にもなる。
ベニノキの種を利用して作る香辛料で、ベニノキの種の殻を水や油に溶かして出てくる赤色が主に着色料として利用される。
双子葉植物離弁花群ヒメフウロトウダイグサ科の落葉高木で、木の皮に多量のタンニン成分が含有されている。
双子葉植物バラ目マメ科の一属の常緑樹で、タンニン成分を含有している。植物染料の一種であるカテキュー(catechu)を抽出して下痢止め剤、染料、収斂剤およびタンニン材などにも利用し、これを薬として使うときは後述のアセンヤクともいう。
漢方ではアカネノキ、カテキューノキの中身やアカシア、オジギソウの葉や枝を煮詰めて作った薬を称する。薬材として解熱剤、消化剤、止血剤などにも使用されるが、クリ色の絵の具の原料および革工業にも使用されてきた。
双子葉植物離弁花群タデ目タデ科の多年草である。漢方で、ダイオウは、6〜7年経過した主根の皮とゴボウ状の細根を除いてそのまままたは輪切りにして乾かした薬剤を示す。淡い黄土色を出す。
ビャクダンノキから水で抽出してビャクダンの色素が得られ、酸性では赤色、アルカリ性では紫色を示す。
ザクロの実は、ザクロの果実であり、ブドウ糖、果糖、クエン酸などを含む。皮はタンニンを含み、種子は天然植物性エストロゲンを含む。古くから、果汁は美しい色を有し、それゆえ食物やワインなどの色づけに適する。
ブドウやブドウ汁を発酵させて作った果実酒で、主に赤色や紫色系の色を持つ。
天然染料を利用した青色発色染色
1)染料の選択
本実験で選択された染料は次の表1の通りである。
上記各天然染料を利用して、各染料に応じた一般的な方法に従い生地を染色した。
使用された生地100重量%に対して硫酸第一鉄を3〜5重量%の比率で準備して水に溶解させた後、30℃程度の該溶液に上記原染料染着段階を経て染色された生地を入れて溶液の温度を80℃程度まで上昇させた。このときの所要時間は30〜40分程度であった。
使用された生地100重量%に対して黄血塩を3〜5重量%の比率で冷水に均一に混ざるようによく溶かした。
上記鉄媒染段階を経て灰色系を帯びた生地を上記黄血塩溶液に含浸させた。含浸された生地が青色を示すまでかかる時間は数分内であり、1分前に青色を発現することもあった。このとき所望の色感を得るために上記時間は1〜20分の間で調節された。
上記の段階を経た結果を次の表2に示す。
Claims (6)
- 青色発色のための染色方法であって:
染料を生地に染着させる原染料染着段階と;
上記原染料染着段階を経た生地に鉄媒染を行う鉄媒染段階と;
黄血塩を水に溶解させて黄血塩溶液を製造する黄血塩溶液製造段階と;
上記鉄媒染段階を経た生地を上記黄血塩溶液製造段階で製造された溶液に入れて所望の色感の青色が発現されるまで熟成させる青色発色段階と;
を含む方法。 - 上記染料の原材料は、カキ、アカネ、クチナシの実、クリ、シコン、ゴール、アナトー、アカメガシワ、アカシア、アセンヤク、ダイオウ、ビャクダン、ザクロ、またはワインのうちの少なくとも1つである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 上記鉄媒染段階は:
鉄媒染剤を常温の水に入れて溶解させる鉄媒染剤溶解段階と;
上記鉄媒染剤溶解段階を経た溶液に上記原染料染着段階を経た生地を入れる生地含浸段階と;
上記生地含浸段階の後に溶液の温度を50〜100℃まで徐々に上昇させる溶液加熱段階と;
を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 上記鉄媒染段階に使用される鉄媒染剤は、硫酸第一鉄(FeSO4)である、請求項1または請求項3に記載の方法。
- 上記鉄媒染段階に使用される硫酸第一鉄は、上記生地100重量%に対して1〜20重量%である、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 上記黄血塩溶液製造段階に使用される用いられる黄血塩は、上記生地100重量%に対して1〜20重量%である、請求項1に記載の方法。
