Abstract
【解決手段】 導電性基材上に正極活物質層の形成された正極板と、導電性基材上に負極活物質層の形成された負極板とが、電気絶縁性を有するセパレータを挟んで交互に積層された発電要素を備えた非水電解質二次電池において、少なくとも一部の正極板に負極板の負極活物質層と非対向状態の正極活物質層が形成されるとともに該非対向状態の正極活物質層と対向する絶縁部材を備えていることを特徴とする。

Claims (7)
- 導電性基材上に正極活物質層の形成された正極板と、導電性基材上に負極活物質層の形成された負極板とが、電気絶縁性を有するセパレータを挟んで交互に積層された発電要素を備えた非水電解質二次電池において、少なくとも一部の正極板に負極板の負極活物質層と非対向状態の正極活物質層が形成され、該非対向状態の正極活物質層と対向する絶縁部材を備えていることを特徴とする非水電解質二次電池。
- 前記発電要素は、帯状の導電性基材上に正極活物質層の形成された正極板と、帯状の導電性基材上に負極活物質層の形成された負極板とが、電気絶縁性を有する帯状のセパレータを介して重ね合わされた状態で長手方向に巻回されて構成されるとともに、最内周及び最外周の少なくとも何れか一方の正極板に前記負極板の負極活物質層と非対向状態の正極活物質層が形成され、前記絶縁部材は、発電要素の最内周及び最外周に少なくとも何れか一方にある正極板の前記非対向状態の正極活物質層に沿って配置されている請求項1に記載の非水電解質二次電池。
- 前記発電要素は、最内周に正極活物質層を内側に向けた正極板が配置され、前記絶縁部材は、重ね合わされた正極板及び負極板の巻回中心となる芯材で構成されている請求項2に記載の非水電解質二次電池。
- 前記発電要素は、最外周に正極活物質層を外側に向けた正極板が配置され、前記絶縁部材は、発電要素全体を包囲するシート又は袋で構成されている請求項2又は3に記載の非水電解質二次電池。
- 前記セパレータは、電気絶縁性を有する基層と、該基層上に積層された無機質層とで構成され、前記無機質層を正極活物質層に対向させて配置されている請求項1乃至4の何れか1項に記載の非水電解質二次電池。
- 前記絶縁部材は、正極板側と反対側とに貫通した多数の微孔が穿設されている請求項1乃至5の何れか1項に記載の非水電解質二次電池。
- 前記絶縁部材は、正極活物質層と対向する面が凹凸面で構成されている請求項1乃至5の何れか1項に記載の非水電解質二次電池。
