Abstract
【解決手段】基材に塗工液を転写するグラビアロール2と、該グラビアロール2に塗工液を塗布する密閉チャンバー7を有する塗工ユニット3と、密閉チャンバー7の塗工液溜まり6内に塗工液を供給する塗工液供給手段4,5とを備えたグラビア塗工装置であって、上記密閉チャンバー7には、塗工液溜まり6のグラビアロール回転方向下流側部をシールするとともに、上記グラビアロール2に付着した余分な塗工液を除去するドクターブレード8と、上記塗工液溜まり7のグラビアロール回転方向上流側部をシールするシールプレート9と、該シールプレート9と上記ドクターブレード8との間において先端部が上記グラビアロール2の周面に常時当接するように設置されたインナー部材10とを備えた。

Claims (4)
- 基材の表面に塗工液を転写するグラビアロールと、該グラビアロールに塗工液を塗布する密閉チャンバーを有する塗工ユニットと、密閉チャンバーに形成された塗工液溜まり内に塗工液を供給する塗工液供給手段とを備えたグラビア塗工装置であって、上記密閉チャンバーには、塗工液溜まりのグラビアロール回転方向下流側部をシールするとともに、上記グラビアロール付着した余分な塗工液を除去するドクターブレードと、上記塗工液溜まりのグラビアロール回転方向上流側部をシールするシールプレートと、該シールプレートと上記ドクターブレードとの間において先端部が上記グラビアロールの周面に常時当接するように設置されたインナー部材とを備えたことを特徴とするグラビア塗工装置。
- 上記インナー部材よりもグラビアロールの回転方向上流側部に位置する塗工液溜まりの上流室に塗工液を供給する第1塗工液供給通路と、上記インナー部材よりもグラビアロールの回転方向下流側部に位置する塗工液溜まりの下流室に塗工液を供給する第2塗工液供給通路とを備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のグラビア塗工装置。
- 上記インナー部材が、グラビアロールの回転方向に対向するように傾斜した状態で設置された板状部材からなることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のグラビア塗工装置。
- 上記インナー部材よりもグラビアロールの回転方向上流側部に位置する塗工液溜まりの上流室と、上記インナー部材よりもグラビアロールの回転方向下流側部に位置する塗工液溜まりの下流室とを連通させる連通路が密閉チャンバーに形成されるとともに、上記塗工液溜まりの上流室内に塗工液を供給する単一の塗工液供給手段とを備えたことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のグラビア塗工装置。
