Abstract

Claims (3)
- 中間転写部材を再生する方法であって、
前記中間転写部材の外側層をアルコールではがすことと、
ポリマー、導電性粒子、溶媒の混合物で、つなぎ目のない中間転写部材の外側表面をコーティングすることと、
この混合物を加熱し、前記中間転写ベルトの外側表面の層を作成することと、を含む、方法。 - 中間転写部材を再生する装置であって、
中間転写ベルトを回転させ、引っ張るための駆動機構と、
前記中間転写ベルトにオーバーコート溶液を塗布するためのフローコーティング分注部材と、を備え、前記フローコーティング分注部材が、前記中間転写ベルトの回転方向に平行および垂直の両方向に移動することができる、装置。 - 中間転写部材を再生するための方法であって、
前記中間転写部材の外側層をイソプロパノールではがすことと、
ポリマー、導電性粒子、溶媒の混合物で、つなぎ目のない中間転写部材の外側表面をフローコーティングすることと、
前記混合物を加熱し、前記中間転写ベルトの前記外側表面の表面層を作成することと、を含み、ここで、前記表面層が、約10ミクロン〜約150ミクロンの厚みを有し、表面抵抗が、約109オーム/スクエア〜約1013オーム/スクエアである、方法。
