Abstract
【解決手段】正極活物質を正極集電体上に有する正極と、正極と電解質を介して対向する負極とを有し、正極活物質は、リチウムとニッケルとを含む化合物で形成される膜状の第1の領域と、リチウムと、鉄、マンガン、及びコバルトの一以上とを含み、且つニッケルを含まない化合物で形成される膜状の第2の領域とを有し、第1の領域は第2の領域で覆われている蓄電装置である。正極活物質の表層部がニッケルの含まれない領域で形成されていることで、ニッケルが電解液に触れる事が無くなるため、ニッケルの触媒効果の発現を抑制し、且つニッケルの持つ高い放電電位を利用することが出来る。

Description
本実施の形態では、本発明の一形態である蓄電装置が有する正極の構造について図1を用いて説明する。
本実施の形態では、本発明の一形態である蓄電装置が有する正極の構造について図1とは異なる例を図2、図3、図4を用いて説明する。
本実施の形態では、本発明の一形態である蓄電装置が有する正極の作製方法について、以下に説明する。
上述の作製工程によって得られた正極活物質を含む正極を用いた蓄電装置の例としてリチウムイオン二次電池について、以下に説明する。リチウムイオン二次電池の概要を図6に示す。
本実施の形態では、実施の形態4で説明した蓄電装置の応用形態について説明する。
本実施の形態では、本発明の一態様に係る蓄電装置を、無線給電システム(以下、RF給電システムと呼ぶ。)に用いた場合の一例を、図9及び図10のブロック図を用いて説明する。なお、各ブロック図では、受電装置および給電装置内の構成要素を機能ごとに分類し、互いに独立したブロックとして示しているが、実際の構成要素は機能ごとに完全に切り分けることが困難であり、一つの構成要素が複数の機能に係わることもあり得る。

Claims (5)
- 正極活物質を正極集電体上に有する正極と、
前記正極と電解質を介して対向する負極とを有し、
前記正極活物質は、
リチウムとニッケルとを含む化合物で形成される膜状の第1の領域と、
リチウムと、鉄、マンガン、及びコバルトの一以上とを含み、且つニッケルを含まない化合物で形成される膜状の第2の領域とを有し、
前記第1の領域は前記第2の領域で覆われていることを特徴とする蓄電装置。 - 正極活物質を正極集電体上に有する正極と、
前記正極と電解質を介して対向する負極とを有し、
前記正極活物質は、
リチウムとニッケルとを含むリン酸化合物で形成される膜状の第1の領域と、
リチウムと、鉄、マンガン、及びコバルトの一以上とを含み、且つニッケルを含まないリン酸化合物で形成される膜状の第2の領域とを有し、
前記第1の領域は前記第2の領域で覆われていることを特徴とする蓄電装置。 - 請求項2において、前記リチウムとニッケルとを含むリン酸化合物はオリビン構造を有する領域を含むことを特徴とする蓄電装置。
- 請求項2または3において、前記リチウムと、鉄、マンガン、及びコバルトの一以上とを含み、且つニッケルを含まないリン酸化合物は、オリビン構造を有する領域を含むことを特徴とする蓄電装置。
- 請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項において、前記第1の領域は正極活物質中において複数の領域を有することを特徴とする蓄電装置。
