Claims (5)
- 液晶パネルのデータラインとゲートラインの交差部にデータとスキャンパルスを供給してディスプレイする液晶表示装置の駆動回路において、
ビデオデータの入力を受けて偶数データと奇数データに分離して、極性制御信号によって隣接チャンネル間のデータをあらかじめ交換して各チャンネルのラッチに送る統合的なマルチプレクサーが具備されたコントロール部;及び
前記データラインにビデオデータを送る各チャンネルごとに具備されて、前記コントロール部からデータを受信して、イネーブル信号によってラッチして前記データラインに出力するデータ駆動部、を含むことを特徴とする液晶表示装置の駆動回路。 - 前記コントロール部は、
前記ビデオデータを受信して一時保存するバッファー;
受信したビデオデータを偶数データと奇数データに分離するデータレジスター;及び
分離したデータを極性制御信号(POL)によって出力の極性を選択してデータをあらかじめ交換した後、前記データ駆動部のラッチに送るマルチプレクサーを含んで、
前記データ駆動部は、
前記マルチプレクサーで交換されたビデオデータを順次にサンプリングする第1ラッチ;及び
前記第1ラッチから入力されるデータをラッチして、各データラインに出力する第2ラッチが具備されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置の駆動回路。 - 前記コントロール部は、前記マルチプレクサーで極性制御信号(POL)を認識してデータを交換するロード信号と、偶数データ出力と奇数データ出力をデータラインに供給するロード信号を分離して、前記極性制御信号(POL)によるデータ交換が各チャンネル部の第1ラッチに保存前になされるように構成されたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の液晶表示装置の駆動回路。
- 前記コントロール部は、現在ロード信号を利用して極性制御信号(POL)を認識して、前記マルチプレクサーで前記極性制御信号(POL)によってデータを交換した後前記第1ラッチに保存して、前記極性制御信号(POL)を1水平同期信号(1H time)後の次のロード信号に同期させて出力の極性を決めるように構成されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の液晶表示装置の駆動回路。
- 液晶表示装置の駆動方法において、
コントロール部のバッファーでビデオデータを受信して一時保存する段階;
データレジスターで前記ビデオデータを偶数データと奇数データに分離する段階;
現在ロード信号で極性制御信号(POL)を認識して、前記コントロール部に統合的に具備されたマルチプレクサーで隣接チャンネル間のデータをあらかじめ交換する段階;
前記マルチプレクサーで交換された偶数データと奇数データを各チャンネル部に具備された第1及び第2ラッチに保存する段階;及び
次のロード信号で同期させて前記極性制御信号(POL)によって決まった出力の極性によって偶数データ出力と奇数データ出力をデータラインに供給する段階を含むことを特徴とする液晶表示装置の駆動方法。
